This is a brutal dance song. By the mid-seventies, Motown was definitely exploring new sounds after their move to CA. It sounds like they used, drums, guitars, bongos, horns (french horns too?) and keyboards/synthesizers. People today fail to realize the full potential of real instruments. This song is almost 40yo and it still sounds fresh today. No drum machines were used. I think this song was ahead of it's time.
This song is from the last album that the Jackson 5 did with Motown. It's a good album, but Motown didn't promote it. It's worth listening to. Another great track is Body Language (Do The Love Dance) and the Supremes remake of Forever Came Today. Thanks again, Ayana Marie! (Spoken as Ralph Kramden) Baby...You're the greatest!!!
LOL OMG why the hell are they singing about that o-o
