I saw this live in 2006 and cried.  I downloaded In Rainbows the day it came out and heard they'd kept pretty faithful to this arrangement and cried again! Just beautiful.

one of the most gorgeous songs ever written, it's come a long way since they first played it live ten years ago. thom singing the old piano chorus (beginning at about 3:00) gives me the chills every time.

I especially like the guitar part in the chorus of this version. The little strums where you can hear the pick against the strings. Thom said they were working on strings for it when recording. It seems like the album version (!) is going to sound quite different from what we first heard ten years ago.

Thom's just got so much tone in his voice, it rarely sounds thin unlike many imitators out there.

I hope the band have sampled his "angel" tones for generations to come :D

Love the way they can dissect a song and make it sound totally different, few bands ever attempt this.

This version is kinda jazz tinged with a stripped back feel. Maybe not as good as their original way of doing it but certainly nice to hear a different take :)
