You can either connect your Xbox Hard drive to your computer and mess with the coordinates that place the avatar where he normally goes and move him around... or... when new avatar clothing is released, sometimes they have glitches in them. However, I did the first part, by connecting my 360 to my computer.

to my knowledge, connecting your HDD to your computer is nothing wrong at all. Infact, its your own propority, I see no reason they could say its a ban-able action. =P

Now, connecting to your computer in order to obtain things such as free MSP or Xbox Live, thats a different story. Some people connect their 360 to their computer to sometimes Mod games. Again, this is not illegal ASLONG as you DO NOT upload to any filesharing community *cough* Bungie *cough*
