Was wondering 'What happened to Louis Logic?' when I Googled him and found this. No offense, but if you're going to go the instrumental/vocal route, you need the chops to do it. Just my opinion, but this feels like a failed attempt to capitalize on ironic hipster bullshit, a complete 180 from the fake gangster shit of the underground hip hop scene. I don't blame you for getting out of that, but this new direction doesn't play to your strengths.

I do like this, although imho not your best Lou, the beat is tight, lyrics are on point, just it just seems to be lacking some spark however, your good tracks tracks hit like none other. haha! thanks, homey. as a very adventurous artist i'm always refining my reply to questions & comments like this. the summary remains the same though. there's nothing to be sad about or miss. there are literally hundreds of louis logic songs in the style folks came to know me by, and it's not like i can't or won't ever make more. just remember, the best thing about those old records was they were unique due to my taste for experimention. i think you'd be sadder if i was a one trick pony.
