if u replace the motor do you have to replace the gears too? or better yet if u replace the motor, do you have to solar on the wires again or is plug in type no matter if its positive/negative?

@SuperDwang if u just want to change the motor u can. U will want to mark the hot wire cuz they only go on 1 way and will short the fuse. Other wise your good to go.

@SuperDwang sorry, the motor plugs do just snap in no solder required. I believe I have a motor box on the p90.

@SuperDwang the motor housing and gearbox are 2 different prices u will not need to mess with the gears at all. U should watch my mother replacement bid its all there.

what is the worst I could mess my gun up by doing this? My air nozzle cracked and chipped, so could someone please tell me how risky this is?

the only thing i would worry about is if u think you will not be able to put the gear box back together. while u r in the gear box just check for wear on gear teeth and piston teeth and maby relube a little.

Would a 10.8v tear up an echo 1 P90's gearbox and internals?

you would want at least a 120 spring or 400fps + and you should be fine.

it will wear faster than a lower volt battery. just depends on quality of internals really.

thanks this really helped i was going to change my stock motor in my echo1 e90 until i realized that the connectors were sauntered on. Just a question would a classic army high speed motor be better than the stock motor cause if it is ill re saunter it. be great if someone could answer great vid.

first off...its solder...the wires are soldered on...second off...yes, a CA hi tork or hi-speed motor will be much better than the stock motor

i have the well r9 p90 that fits the tm mags that gun haz the same kind of gear box not sure about the the the first wells.

Honestly the well p90 is such a crap gun that youd be better off just spending the 30 dollers and getting a new one rather then shelling out money for a gearbox.
