  • is that like touretts: for legs?

  • @parisruiz1... im sorry, what i meant was.... is that touretts: for muscles???

  • I've had this problem since I was about 12 years old. Started with eye twitching and just got worse. Watching this video you seem to have the same kinda weird thing do. I can't just let the twitch finish without trying to see it, and sometimes watch it for a long time. Kinda like I'm hypnotized while watching. It gets weird and very annoying. Pretty much have had every part of my body do this. 2 fingers on my left hand are doing it as i'm typing this.

  • severe

  • Try taking calcium and magnesium supplements, it helped me a lot.

  • As a diabetic you should have your GP check your electrolyte balance as it could be off balance, and created muscle spasms.

  • when i get cramp fasciculations I panic and start swear. I get toe cramp twitches, my toe goes downward and stays there while twitching a bit!

  • I have it on my arm sometimes but not everytime it can be seen too

  • Me too: every minute of my life. Good luck. It's horrible. "benign", pfff. Yeah it's benign, but NOT for the mind... mAKES YOU CRZY.

  • Awww

  • I hate waking up to the painful cramps on the leg. For me, the pain last as long as 20mins sometimes I have both my legs and lasts for long time.

  • @iamzpanda: Depending on the actual cause - there are different naturopathic approach for dealing with involuntary muscle movements.

  • If I were youbarg, I'd seriously write dr oz and send him this video. No kidding you,. If it's making you this miserable, demand answers and help.

  • Does the doctor think you have ALS? I'm so sorry if you do. How are you dealing? Did the twitching come on strong or did it take a while to get the severe?

  • osmosis jones is having a party

  • it looks painful even though i know its not

  • @TheTiah2002

The twitching isn't painful - the cramps are unbearable ...

  • @TheTiah2002 Not to scare you but my grandpa and mom had ALS. They both died of it. This is serious no joke

  • it´s a neurological problem

  • @peteristehbest It's called a muscle spasm. it's when your muscle contracts. Your vein is fine

  • 1:33 woahhh

  • ive got a little twitch...feels like i got a heart in my knee..do you know what it is? my friend said it might be something in my vain blocking the blood flow?

  • Hi again forgot to mention I am not diabetic so can rule that out,it is nerve and disc damage.

  • Hi I also have spasms in my left leg only, not a constant as you as mine can ease off for a while,my left foot has dropped so have little use of my ankle,it is uncontrollable twitching, then massive cramps follow in so many parts of my leg i never knew had muscles. My GP gave me Baclofen, this helped but it has not gone away, just eased the symptoms by 70 percent.went for MRI scan and I am due to have disc decompression.I hope this helps,Baclofen has certainly made things easier.good luck.

  • I twitch like that everyday also i just thought my nerves were bad or somthing.

  • LAWD YES I HAVE THIS PROBLEM THREW MY WHOLE BODY AND I'VE BEEN HAVING THIS FOR SOME YEARS IT WILL NOT GO AWAY.

  • This is a large breasted white woman having an orgasm in your gastrocnemius!

Just kidding! Yours is disgusting but I have had violent eruptions like this. It is annoying since it happens without notice but also fascinating where the body chooses to have an eruption!

Solution: drink half your weight in ounces in filtered water DAILY (I drink a gallon a day) and double your in take of minerals via whole organic foods and this crap should stop!

    Nutrition!

  • box it ?

  • I get it every three days for 30 mins

  • the same thing happens to me im so scared to go the doctors about it

  • If you're on meds for ADHD/ADD/Anixety/ Depression it will cause twitching

If you drink a lot of caffeine, energy drinks, and diet pills cause twitching as well.

Lastly, continuous muscle strain causes this.

  • @face2facechick Do you have this?? Did you get it from add meds? I'm wondering because I have been on add meds but can't tell for sure if its the cause and I'm wondering if stopping the meds would make them go away or reduce.

  • @LinkII08 Yes my muscles twitch constantly when I'm on the medication. Days that I don't take the medication....not so much twitching if any goes on. ADD meds are designed to do that unfortunately. Because its trying to correct certain things in your brain, it cause the brain to send erroneous signals everywhere else i.e. the thigh, calf, eye, and anywhere else you might twitch.

  • GROSS! :(

  • Sorry it's been a while since I've posted... the Neurologist poked me to death and wired me up with a few million electrodes and zapped the crap out of me... diagnoses seems to be motor neuron related, such as ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease) so if you have something like this going on and it never stops please see a neurologist would be my suggestion.

  • could also be peripheral nerve hyperexcitability; wiki or google issacs syndrome; see a neuromuscular specialist to be sure

  • i twitch but never like that.omg!!

  • damn bro im not a doctor or anything but u should make sure thats not cancer...

  • - Mines dont twitch that bad , or all at once .___.

i touching my leg when it twitches , it feels cool.

  • i o i twitch all day every in every part of my body

  • My doc has me scheduled to see a neurologist for nerve conduction studies. He mentioned that it is most likely diabetic neuropathy in conjunction with some possible nerve damage? Just over the past few months I've started having severe pains in my upper arms/shoulders when I try to raise my arms or reach behind me. I've also starting losing control of my right hand, it'll just drop something like I don't have any control over it anymore. Dropped the coffee pot one morning.

  • @argrmrpr

so what was ur diagnosis diabetic ? damn sounds like other disease AL....

but i did indeed read that diabetic neuropathy could have the same symptoms im

23 now almost 24 started having fasciculations all over my body a year a half ago

they can come everywhere but mainly in my calves like you ! 24/7 calves almost but not as hard as yours . got a EMG study came back normal the neurologist said. i was afraid of ALS i dont really have noticed any weakness till now but other symptoms

  • Man... Those are some pretty violent twitches.

Does it happen all over the body? If so, have you had a Lyme test? An idea is to do a western blot test to see if you have borrelia bacteria of some kind.

As far as I know, diabetes *can* also cause diabetic neurpathy, which could be the reason for the fasciculisations you are having.

It could also be BFS. Which is often caused by some previous bacterial or viral infection and can persist for a very long time (even forever).

  • Have you been exposed to neurotoxins...do you live near industrial food production? Do you eat ORGANIC? SOme people are super-sensitive to pesticides...my 'fasciculations' are almost certainly from being sprayed in ag accident....

  • aww well doesnt that just suckkkkk

  • potassium might help try that

or eating a banana and drinking water

  • excess work out

    stress

    caffeine

or ADHD meds will cause this

if they don't hurt they are most likely benign

  • Oh btw thats not dirt on my leg lol ... its my birthmark.
