  • she reminds me of Courtney Kupets on beam.

  • She is truly amazing

  • Incredible. She made that look so entirely effortless.

  • I hope she kicks A** at Worlds in Japan!

  • The hesitation on the dismount was to wait for the bell so her routine would get deducted for being too short.

  • @whoaitskaayleen The deduction for a routine being too short is if a routine is under 1:10, I believe, not under 1:20.

  • I love watching her on beam! She is amazing!

  • absolute perfection.

  • Just when the world thought the US couldn't do any better than Shawn and Nastia...suprise! ;-)

  • All of you are being pretty obnoxious except the two people below me they are actually talking abotu productive things.

  • sometimes i think you guys forget this is a 16 year old girl..don't be too harsh.

  • @kissofjuicy 15 at the time.. she just turned 16 on July 12th

  • @kissofjuicy Don't be too harsh? You do realize this is gymnastics, right?

  • Did she miss her hand at 0:19-0:20 ?

  • @Stonymypony No its part of her routine! HAHA yeah a one handed backhandsring!!! I thought the same thing when I watched her last year. She did the same thing. I think its pretty amazing...I don't think i've seen it from anyone else!

  • @15allrerebs Ana Porgras is pretty recent to do that... And Nadia did a one handed routine...

  • @15allrerebs Also Yang Bo, the best beam worker ever...

  • There are some deductions there that are WAY to severe... Her back pike was not low, it was where it needed to be. Unless you expect each gymnast to land straight on every element, its unrealistic. There was NO hesitation before the back full, its called preparation, which is only supposed to be 2 seconds max which is what she took. Are you even a gymnast or are you just hyper critical?!?!?! And i HIGHLY doubt you could do the routine this good... Geez your frustrating.........

  • @Rackethead Of course it's unrealistic. But that's what gymnastics is. If it's not textbook perfect, you deduct. 1:13- 1:16 is her "preparation" for the back full. It's 3 seconds. More than 2. I'm not a gymnast. I'm very very very critical of gymnasts. And, no, I can't do that. But that doesn't mean I can't critique it.

  • lol Sorry Milo but you're not the last gymnast to get a 10 anymore, if they brought back 10's she would be the first one to get one!

  • This was the best routine I have ever seen with this level of difficulty, no hesitation on anything, looks like we know who won the 2012 olympics lol jk just an assumption

    .

  • @KaruiNinja There actually isn't a lot of difficulty here. Zhang Yelinzi of China is competing a 6.9 routine while this is only out of a 6.0. And I don't know... I think there are visible deductions here that would've been taken. I don't think this would've been a perfect ten. Yes 10000 thumbs down for me.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 Thanks for mentioning Zhang Yelinzi , since I haven't heard of her before, but the execution of her routine is not as clean as Wieber's, and also can you let me know what deductions you would take?

  • @KaruiNinja That's true of course. Well I'd take off on the front aerial for bent knees -.1. Unpointed toes on front aerial -.1. Flexed feet on BHS -.1. Flexed feet on LOSO -.1. Low landing on LOSO -.1. Flexed feet on back pike -.1. Low landing on back pike -.1. Sissone not parallel to beam -.1. Flexed feet on side Somi -.1. Flexed feet on free cartwheel -.1. Slight wobble on free cartwheel -.1. Hesitation before full twist -.1. Flexed feet on full twist -.1. Low landing on full twist -.1.

  • @KaruiNinja Also, hesitation before dismount -.1. Flexed feet on two BHSs before dismount -.2. Total B: 8.3. I'm extremely picky, though. Mustafina's beam execution score must've just made the 7.0s on my scoring... or not even.

  • @aftermath9012 No I don't like that move either, and there is one move in her floor routine that annoys the crap out of me. Its like this little circle she makes with her hands but it looks like shes chopping something. Idk why I hate it so much lol

  • I personally think she's a good blend of shawn and nastia , she has great power and supper tough skills but she has nastia's grace and lines. As long as she cleans up her bars and adds a few more difficult skills she could definatly win the olympics

  • @peaceluvcheer97 They're calling Jordyn graceful and with good lines now!?!?!? Oh please... I'm going to throw up!

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 i personally think she is very graceful and has nice lines, you can have your opinions and i'll have mine. Ok?

  • @peaceluvcheer97 Ok. But I insist you look up Daniela Silivas and Ekaterina Szabo.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 I know who they are, they are beyond graceful, Jordyn is just graceful

  • I would like to see her clean up her lines, mostly her feet, a little knees, before the Olympics!

  • Agreed.

  • But I do love Jordyn and am Glad she won, no matter how it happened.

  • @ triffus: Have you looked at the olympics & world champs lately? 2004 Olympics (Carly/USA), 2005 Worlds (Chellsie/USA), 2007 Worlds (Shawn/USA), 2008 Olympics (Nastia/USA), 2009 Worlds (Bridget/USA), so where the heck did you get just Nastia? These competitions were judge by others throughout the world. USA we have the most AA champs in worlds, USA/06, USSR/05, Russia/05 Romania/02. “91”Zimeskal, “93&94”Miller, “05” Memmel, “07” Johnson, “09” Sloan.

  • @twistedelegance78 No denying that the US is doing well, for sure. I'm not contending that point, I just think it's sad that the state of current gymnastics is what it is. I didn't mind Bridget Sloan at all, liked Miller, Zemeskal was great too. I cannot stand Pattterson ( no choreo), or Johnson's artistic ability. I'm hoping that Johnson makes her comeback strong, and that her experience on dancing with the stars, will have been beneficial to her. I mentioned Nastia in terms of style.

  • @triffus I disagree about Jordyn though. Yeah, she's no Liukin, but her grace and lines are twice those of Shawn Johnson any day, and I totally think she deserved to win the meet. Love Mustafina though.

  • @twistedelegance78 What are you talking about? USSR has had 10 world champions! And there are repeats as well! A total of 12 wins including repeats! And no, I would not call any one of those Americans you mentioned artistic but Miller! No, not even Nastia! Russia has had only 4 if you count Khorki three times.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 The last time I checked you were not the FIG committee, so you’re opinion of what an artistic gymnast means nothing to me. It’s fact USA has more AA world Champions more than Russia, Ukraine, China and Romania. USA: 91/93/94/05/07&08 Russia: 97/01/03 Romania: 87/99

  • @twistedelegance78 Made a mistake 91/93/04/05/07/09

  • @twistedelegance78 I didn't know you knew my name because I'm not part of the FIG and I don't want to be. Hey dipshit! Guess what! Only Nellie Kim and Sveta Bogi were from places other than Russia! Larisa Latynina was Ukranian and Russian. So yeah, that's 8 all from Russia, smart one! 8 is more than 6! That's a fact!

  • @twistedelegance78 So I was right about Russia having 8 champions from the Soviet Union and then additional Svetlana's 3 wins and Aliya's win. I was also right about Khorkina winning 3 times, not twice. That's 2-0 I'm winning. Try and prove me wrong again. :)

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 Totally agreeing with u here but the fact is-Ludmilla Tourischeva1970,1974,1972~Elena Mukhina1978~Yelena Davydova1980~Olga Bicherova1981~Natalia Yurchenko1983~Yelena Shushunova1988,1987,1985~Svetlana Khorkina,199&,2001,2003~Aliya Mustafina,2010 Total: 14 (These gymnasts were all Russian)

    Mary Lou,1984~Kim Zmeskal,1991~Shannon Miller,1993,1994~CarlyPatterson,2004~Chellsie Memmel,2005~Shawn Johnson,2007~Nastia Liukin,2008~Brigdet Sloan,2009 Total: 9 (These are American)

  • @GymnasticsFan1144 Yes. There's also Larisa Latynina, Galina Rudiko, and Oksana Omelianchik added to that list. My math was sort of messed up when I was counting the repeats of world champions. Thanks for that.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 oh okay and no problem :)

  • @GymnasticsFan1144 Shushunova didn't win a title in 1987, it was Dobre.

  • @rjp172 oops my bad ur right she won vault and floor so its 13

  • @twistedelegance78 Okay fact is-Ludmilla Tourischeva1970,1974,1972~Elena Mukhina1978~Yelena Davydova1980~Olga Bicherova1981~Natalia Yurchenko1983~Yelena Shushunova1988,1987,1985~Svetlana Khorkina,199&,2001,2003~Aliya Mustafina,2010 Total: 14 (These gymnasts were all Russian)

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 Emmm I think you need to understand fact. USSR is not just Russia DIP SHIT. USSR (Union of Soviet Social Republic) consist of three countries not just Russia “Ukraine, Belarus & Russia.” So if you’re barking all the BS about Russia this rule would apply to Ukraine & Belarus

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 Svetlana KHORKINA has only won worlds two times 2001 & 2003

  • @twistedelegance78 No, moron. Svetlana KHORKINA (her fans nicknamed her Khorki) won worlds in 1997 as well!

  • I disagree with all of you. She has all the artistry of Shawn Johnson. Great stability and skills, but nothing else. Let's remember it's, " Artistic" gymnastics. American gymnasts lately with the exception of Nastia, have no lines, extention, or creativity. And to those who say, " triffus you're not that smart, or your opinion is stupid"... I was a world champion. Feel free to watch my videos if you like.

  • triffus you're not that smart, keep your rude comments to yourself. She deserved to win, Aliya is one of the most sloppy gymanst to date.

  • Keep those feet flexed, and bend those knees Weiber. Way to prove you deserve to win the meet. They call it SCAM cup for a reason in the gymnastics world.

  • @triffus .. shut up

  • @triffus Have you seen Mustafina's form though? O_o Jordyn's form is beautiful. This was underscored. She beat the World Champion, get over it.

  • @FlippinTitan2010 Mustafina's twisting form sure as hell needs some work, but at least the girl is innovative. Her leaps are lovely.

  • @triffus I do agree, her twisting is horrid, but fixing that would be easy, I think they need to call Nastia in for Jordyn Wieber to get better splits, artistry, etc. But I still think that the US obviously knows what they're doing, picking people with huge difficulty over people with artistry and not as much difficulty. It obviously has worked in the past, but I wish they could be like Russians, artistic and have super hard difficulty. But you can work on artistry. She definitely needs it!

  • @mengymnast1597 That's all I was saying. Consistency is key, and the US has the girls with tons of badass tricks at the moment. Look at China. They can make their girls do repetition after repetition with full splits, dislocated shoulders, ridiculous leaps, but if they can't make it work in competition, what's the point? I just think that some of the Russian gymnasts ( Komova, Mustafina) are making a solid attempt at blending the two styles. Power and Beauty.
