@0228andrew englishtown ETown raceway park is my home track however after I put in the built motor and ran 10.6's .. I got kick off the track and ban until I put a roll cage in .. I do plan on puttin in a roll-bar and hope they will let me run at ETown again .. BTW my 10.6 @ 133 pass was at ETown chk my other vidz
@DirtyMcArthur back in 2007 I was only making 520whp for that 11.1 run on street tires..2010 car is now making 698rwhp, hoping to get is in a solid 700whp this season, at the crank I am well into the 850+hp range now. Thanks again.
@DirtyMcArthur Well right now I am at 895bhp - 22% DT loss net 698rwhp so yeah I am a bit higher than 700bhp right now :) Thanks again .. also I am getting a roll bar put in this season so I can run at the tracks again .. hoping for 10.3's with 100% street tune 15-16psi and 10.0 high 9's at 20psi race tune .. next HPMustangs rental is in Oct. this year, I'll have everything ready by then hopefully :) stay tune more to come..
@700hpV6 as in 93 octane? holy shit lol. Also, when is TMA coming out with the s197 v6 kits? you guys mentioned it a while ago but i'm not seeing any kits. If I get enough money, definately getting a tt kit.
@ogpauly yes .. 93 pump gas only .. no mix or anything .. Well Andy @ TMA got himself an 2011 v6 3.7L and I know he started building a prototype for the 3.7L that should be done later this year or next .. he will post up when its done on his site .. but yeah he will also have a 4.0L kit as well.
you should be running low to mid 10's put some slicks on it, adjustable gas shocks, a good LSD.....it needs traction bad.....pretty good for a V6 stang though
I am running low 10's and I am doing so on 93 pump gas and DR's no need for slicks, the stock roush shocks seems to also work very well .. I am going for 9's this season..
cool thats a lil far for me Im in cleveland I run at summit raceway in norwalk my best time out there is 11.14@131mph but that was on stock internals over the winter I built up the internals over the winter and stroked it to a 3.4L so Im hoping for 9's this year.....cant wait for april
last season I ran 10.6 @ 133-134MPH on 18" street BFG DR's pump gas with a 4100lb race weight lol this season I got me some MT's DR drop some weight and added a transbrake, hope to leave the line under boost this time, foot braking just don't work lol if I can pull off a 1.5 60ft with I'll be in 10.0-10.2's pump gas 16psi .. then I'll up the boost hoping for 1.4's 60ft and 80+ more whp on top will take my heavy ass v6 mustang Vert. in the 9's .. man I can't wait!!
lol lets not talk about my 60ft times I think my trap speed says it all though.....even with slicks and everything I have done I still dont hook up till midway through 3rd gear....Im thinking about going with a solid axle
lets put it this way .. this built v6 motor is 10x better than a stock v6 motor thats good to 150,000+ miles .. so yeah I can do 200,000 miles with this motor without any issues .. I can see my kids in a 6-7 years enjoying this car as is..
Wow, cant wait to have enough to build my 05 GT and strap a roush tvs2300 supercharger to it some day! I would probably still tune it around 470rwhp though to keep it streetable and not kill myself lol! Thanks
I ran at ETown on Oct 17th .. I am very happy to say .. I only made one full pass and right out the box I ran a 10.6 @ 133 MPH with only a 1.798 60' .. going to work on my 60.. but from the MPH this badboy got 9.9's wating to be had!!
Very nice, The auto is where it's at. You can build boost at the line and no can out a properly built one, I trap over one 130 at 11.2. But my 1/8's stink. I usually pick up 30mph on the big end.
Thanks Sai .. ran 6.59 @ 106.7 in the 1/8 with the v2 TT setup, thats good for 10.3's or faster in the 1/4 .. can't wait to get my MT's .. the 18" BFG's are just about max out..
atco?

easy, drop in to 1st gear (low) hold the brake hard and hit the gas, as the rpms get to 5000, shift to 2nd and hold it at 4000rpms for a few sec..

Sounds like a delay between shifting, could just be the video. Are you getting minor slippage?
