I can't in text whats key they'r in..... But it seems to Me that they'r played like a GHB pipe..... Anyway.... You'r playing very very well, and its a pleasure to watch...... Even I prefer to call Dawning of the Day for Raglan Road .....
@maroon740 Dear Maroon, No not all Bagpipes have the same voice.
Please look at ALL the Bagpipe Videos here on my "Channel".
Do a search for Bagpipes and add one these words "Italian" "Bulgarian" "Spanish"
"Irish" "French" "German" "Polish" "Croatian" "Serbian" "Swedish" an so on....
I am naming this Bagpipe the "Gaelic Revival" Bagpipe, to contrast it to the Scots "Great Highland" Bagpipes. Please read my text, an Happy Searching !
I am a highland piper and i compete at Oban and inverness and i would just like to sat i have enjoyed your sound and the pipe is well tuned and harmonious. Very pleasant to listen to . Well done
Very Beautiful your on your way to opening my life!!!! Please I want to get bagpipes my self and learn more love Alex Morris you keep practicing your art and your wisdom down to others!!!! Love you brother and I don't even know you!!!!
Very much like galician bagpipe, which keeps traditionally both drones being the tenor drone put to the right side, and sometimes in more modern versions, shows also an alto small drone which adds a high pitch.
I've heard this bagpipe used to be made of teixo wood, is it true?
@chrismacable Yes two Drones are a lot lighter, esp. when made of Sheesham
Wood painted Black. I'm all for A=440 hertz Chanters as well. I have a few old Chanters: Robertson, J. Center, etc. Loud and Full, not high, thin, & squeally !
The same for the Drums, the "Swash" about the size of a Trap Set Bass Drum
with raw Hide Heads tuned to A. It's like having extra Drones. Vide
Pete Stewart's researches at the Lowland & Border Piper's Society in Scotland.
You get a strong sound from the two drones. I prefer it to my 3 drone highland sound
I may upset the pipe major by suggesting that we play two drone instruments. It would be nice to revive the old two drone warpipe in Irish bands. Thank you for the posting and I look forward to many more. Go néirí an tádh leat a phíobaire.
Your wind shakes my barley, sir.

Do you think that perhaps tying the drones closer together with your drone cord would give the piper easier control over the bag?

@AngusOnkel Thank You for the compliment on my playing.
This Set of Pipes are in the key of A (mixolydian mode) at the pitch of A=440 hertz.
It can also be played in the keys of D and in B modal minor. They can be played with
Scottish Gracing, or with Irish "Uilleann" Pipe Gracing, as I do here.
Fainne Geal an Lae is the original name the Poem "On Raglan Road",written
by Patrick Kavanagh in 1946. see wikipedia for more info.

@MagikguitarAl Thank You for Your Kind Words !
Please see the advice for Bagpipe beginners on
Oliver Seeler's 3w.hotpipes ot com
It's SOME of my Bagpipe Collection but it belongs
to Mr. Seeler. Back in 1999 I had only 30 Pipes,
and in the last 12 years I've added another 25 Pipes.
I need another 5 for a truly representative collection

@raonipaes
There are many Native Irish Woods that were used for Bagpipes.
The following is a short list:
Boxwood ( your Madera de Buxo) Laburnum, Plum, Apple, and
Elder wood.
