  • Despite the quality of the video, this is the best tutorial on the topic.

    Thank you, whoever did this.

  • i sweur tis is old

  • Trouble with these tutorials is there is no explanation why he chose each step. It seems to be a process of click this, select that, click this... and I am still no closer to understanding what to do when I am working on one of my images.

  • @johnrobertdixon Yeah, I know what you mean. What's the sense of watching videos like this when they don't explain why they're doing something? I've watched this video twice and still have no clue why he's grouping this, clicking that, etc. If I'm going to do something in PSE, I like to know WHY I'm doing it!

  • We frequently hear comments form the "purists" about the satisfaction of the great photo being created in the camera, that the post processing in the digital world is somehow sac religious. But the reality is that the digital capability has just expanded the darkroom capabilities. The post image processing has always been a part of the final image, whether it was burning and dodging, or using gels (filters), etc. in the film days prior to digital cameras. The artist always seeks the best tools

  • I have Photoshop Elements 9 and I can't seem to find out how to "remove the color" from the picture without using the "cntrl+shift+u" option

  • Hey could you give me a tip. Is this easier then 7.0??

  • Hello FocalOnline, I just bought my Photo Shop Element 9, but for some technical reason I can't type any text in it. I have tried to find tutorials that help with this but failed to do so.

I follow the steps of others on You Tube but unsuccessful.

I really appreciate your help and support...

  • Very good info! Thanks!

  • i have a question.. how do you get the overexposed one without using the ones from the cd?

  • There is a feature in older versions which has disappeared in CS. In layer panel, next to each layer, there is an eye for hiding, next to that there was an additional box with the picture of brush in it, that you could change it to a "chain", so you could join some layers to gather, for working with stamp and many other things. Do you know how can i do that in CS ?

  • Taking 4 Hours to make a ONE great photo IS NOT MY IDEA OF PHOTOGRAPHY.

Using my DSLR camera correctly in MANUAL mode and getting great photos straight off the camera is 1000 times more rewarding than this shit!!!

No doubt someone who can not take photos will disagree with me!!!!

  • @matsui2001 dude, photoshop is not only made for photos, it's made for computer modding and customization. like if you watch my videos you'll see.

  • @AppleUploader Photo edit software has made people lazy and careless when taking photos. They know they can take a naff photo and sit at a computer for 3 Hours and make the picture stunning.. That is not my idea of photography.

Getting great pictures "straight off the camera" makes me smile.

    This is just boring!

  • @matsui2001 yes, i know and i agree with you a lot on that. but i am saying also, that you can use photoshop for computer modding and customization. not just for photos, it can be used for MANY other things you'd be surprised

  • This is very interesting, although I`ve tried it twice now using three images and the merge had trouble aligning the images despite using a tripod.

  • U MADE MY DAY!!!!<3

  • Thanks a lot for this, I thought I would have to buy CS5!

  • how do we put up the two projects? the over exposed one and the darker one? thank you.

  • I would like to know that too?

  • How do you get the picture up??!! THATS THE PROBLEM!

  • @15lysningieua95 Found it, but I have no clue how to do things whit it, I dont know how to use layers...

  • mine is like taht but i dotn have a circle tool which is retarded

  • is there a patch tool or a tool like the patch tool from cs4 on photoshop elements 8?

  • I don't have the program yet but I just orders a new laptop with it, thanks!

  • That is an awesome technique for removing halo!

  • And you thought it was finished but no, we are only nearly half way through converting this photo. Go and get a mega Red Bull and we`ll continue well into the early hours of the morning..........

  • what is this 'halo' you were trying to get rid of ? i didnt notice anything

  • Can it b used on XP lol jus wondering

  • yes

  • sfe fam

  • can this be used on windows 7

  • yeah it works

  • thanks

  • not to be mean but windows 7 will still have a crapload of problems so you should switch to mac(just a suggestion)

  • Utter nonsense.

(I am an IT technical hardware specialist running a corporate environment with hundreds of PCs and Macs)

  • @superarbychief1 ... yes, I have it

  • @AcrossTheRiverStix ..... thanks

  • HDR are my favorite images.
