  • Its 1,200 rpm gund today dont even have 12,000 rpm...cept for a vulvan maybe

  • I think the rpm on the '42 was 1200 rounds per minute, not 12,000. Still one of the best MG's in history, I've heard that it's still manufactured to this day, just re-chambered to take NATO 7.62mm rounds. That's pretty damn good for a gun that goes back almost 70 years. \m/

  • What anime is that at 0:33

  • @SwissLeo1 Jin Roh

  • Hail Hitler

    With Rocks

  • Heil Hitler!!!

  • modern armies use the mg43 now, but its like saying that russians now use the ak74 instead of the ak47

  • where's that scene @ 0:34 from? btw awesome movie mg2 is THE best machine gun ever made!!!!!

  • @ahunkofspam ya i wanna know toooo

  • @bolland24 I found out, it's a movie called jin roh

  • The two machine guns at the bunker when the movie starts are MG34 not MG 42, they where still very common with infantry divisions like the 352th on the omaha beach.

  • 33 Americans hate this video :D

  • The germans made my fav gun :)

  • they thought they where going to land at norway not france

  • @swastikaPOWER No, they thought they would land in France at Calais, not in France at Normandy.

  • hooray for the germans!

  • omg awesome vid and awesome song

  • Holy shit, wats the song dude

  • 12,000 rpm my ass... try 1,200. its still the fastest mechanically driven single barrel gun ever made

  • @willscomputer2 uhhh wrong. There were several single barrel MGs which fired faster. Soviet ShKAS comes to mind (1500rpm). The MG81 also had very high RoF(same as the ShKAS)

Any higher RoF than the MG42's, however, wasn't practical for infantry use, that weapon ate out ammo at a prodigious rate, and actually the bigger limiting factor for MG42 crews was the ammo they could take with them becase the weapon would spit it out so fast.

the ShKAS was used as an aircraft weapon mainly because of that.

  • @ramjb Shkas actually had a rate of fire of 1800 rpm. British Vickers K had 1200 rpm. :-)

  • @Gooner018 Shkas was a prototype gun, only few build, its never been under wide service(most was on aeroplanes, wasn't field mg).

Vickers? is this a joke? :D

    /watch?v=hPv_f_aSyP4 ->Is this really sounds like 1200rpm?

  • @willscomputer2 mg42 -> 1200 rpm. There was another type of mg 42 which had 1500 rpm, but the barrel over heated too fast.

  • DAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNN!

  • It s not 12 000 rounds/min it is 1200 rounds/min

  • the last clip was of a mg34 not 42

  • This legendary weapon had creepy names like "Hitlersäge,Singende Säge,Knochensäge" and other scary names "Stalinorgel" or "Hitlergeige"

My grandfather was hit 2 times by that monster in the WWII.That was the hell,he told me.

  • your wrong on one of the nicknames. The 'Stalinorgel' was the nebelwerfer used by the germans. It got the name because it made such a screaming sound when it was fired.

  • where can i find the pic at 0:03? that is sooo awesome

  • actually, the mg42 had a stormful rate of fire, but the barrel heated up from 3 to 7 seconds and you had to change the barrel.

  • Like every aircooled machinegun. However the barrel- change mechanism on the '42 was/ is better than most.

  • There was this infamous Jerry at Omaha beach, he's still alive I think, who fired about 10000 rounds from his mg42 before he and his unit had to evacuate. Tells of a terrible battle, and an awesome machinegun...

  • It was over 12000 i heard...

  • he fired 12000 rounds from his mg 42, and 400 from his 2 mausers :)

  • just the sound of the weapon alone inspires fear

  • no movie will ever illustrate how deadly this thing was. It would be too graphic to watch. one bullet would kill a man, this thing spits out 20 every second if not more.

  • in Alien 2 movie mg42? i dont think that whos mg42 0:58....

  • ... a beast?

    lMG-42/MG-3 Natopause on/off

"schwarze Königin = black Queen" ..read up Island-Sagas Kjartan and..Lachswassertal.

"Königin der Schlachtfelder/Queen of the battlefields" are commonly used callsigns within the (bund/german army).

    - ö is oe too, a funny sound indeed.

  • just a little mistake in the clip the original MG-42 had a firerate of 1,500rpm not 12,000rpm even the Minigun/M61Vulcan has "only" 6000rpm

    and

    TO ALL:

the MG42 had 1500rpm the later version MG-3(wich looks exactly the same) has 1200rpm because they thought 1500rpm would just be a wast of ammo.

  • yeah but that's also because the later version its gas operated system was a bit upgraded

  • Mg42! That's only German Power !!!

    Awesome!

Que fierrazo!! Una masa!! Poder Aleman !!

  • @GuilleBlitzkrieg Un fierro, ciertamente...

  • thats like saying anyone who watches a movie where americans are killed is promoting death of americans and thats not true at all. its only realistic. many amercans have been killed in war.

  • Nato forces Still use An mg 42 Variant Instead of 7.62 they shoot .308 rounds

  • 7.62 is .308 u mean they arnt using 7.92

  • nope. its not up to nato standards so they use .308 now.

  • that firearm inspired many modern day weapons

  • 12000 rpm CRAP! 1200rpm.......

  • Jin-Roh heißt der Anime... ist ein sehr guter Film!

  • wie heisst der anime???? whats the name from this comicmovie????

  • What the hell

  • What for a manga is these?

  • the german -_-

    i prefer the bayonettes

  • The gun firing at the end is not a 42 it's an earlier 34.

  • Allso one of the most accurate mg´s ever...

  • Where are those cartoon cyborg nazi things from?

  • They are elite commandos in the cartoon The Wolf Brigade

  • Jin-Roh

  • Jin-Roh.

  • just imagine if the garmans ACTUALLY had those cyborgs/!!!!1

  • 1200 rpm hat es heute bei der bundeswehr im wk2 hate es 1500 rpm ihr experten -_-

  • actually its 1200 rpm

  • The Anime is Jin-Roh, right? :)

    5* Good Work!

  • 0.20

    it's mg34

  • Question, whats the song by?

  • We die young, by Alice in Chains

  • German engineer work at its best.

  • Agreed

  • Muahahhaha Blood

    BLOOD!!!!

  • wth there is a mistake at 1:10 ther stands it shoots 12 000 rouds per minute but its is 1200 rounds per minute

  • és még mindig használják:D:D:D:D

    the best!

And this is in use yet:D:D:D

the german engineers were the best:D

  • That one at the end was a 34 not a 42. And a few others in here, but I'm not gonna complain cause I loved this vid. ^^

  • WHAT THE FUCK?

    12k RPM?

    NO

    1200.

  • Geez,I want one of these ...I just wanna kill my sister...;)

  • The modern MG3 has 1200 rpm, the original mg42 has 1500 rpm

  • its 1200 rpm not 12000!

and that last one was a mg34

  • i love how at 1:12 the machinegunner is shooting from wat looks to be like 100 yds away, and the shots are hitting a 50x50 FOOT spread lol...regardless thats hollywood...mg42=amazing

  • oh ya the CADPAT Uniform is at 0:55

  • that looked like the canadian cadpat uniform...... shit why cant my unit have a couple MG34's or 42's lol.

  • Name of the song?

    Awesome video about an earthshaker

  • Noobs das mg42 benutzte 7.92 mm .. und nicht 7.62 !! die ersten beiden mg im Vid sind mg 34 nicht mg 42 !!! american noobs XD

  • I aksed what the name of the song was.. What the hell is your problem?

  • Song is "We Die Young" by Alice in Chains from their first album.

  • Besides he didn't say that the Mg 42 fired 7.62. he said the new MG3 fired 7.62.

I really hate people like you

  • MG34: round outer barrel, 800rpm

    MG42: angular outer barrel, ~1500rpm

MG3: looks pretty similar to the MG42 but with 7.62mm NATO ammunition.

  • Lol 12,000 rpm?

    You mean 1200 :)

  • about 30% of the guns in this video were the earlier German MG-34 with half the fire rate and a significantly different look 5/10 is the best i can do for this one

  • 0:44 - what anime is that?

  • it's called jin-roh. I also found that anime thanks to this vid!

  • its jin roh the wolf brigade

  • Thank You very much

  • Sorry Sturmgewehr 44 but the rpm of teh MG 42 is 1200 rpm but its true it was the fastest firing gun at ww II an a lot of weapon profs think it was the best ever build MG in the world an its still in use in good old Germany, Austria and so on ^^

  • Cool EVIL NAZI in the future of this anime .

    5/5

  • Last one is an MG 34.

    Attention to details champ !

  • In 2039 STephan H Stephanson gona step into Africa and say

"My dear people of Africa, Join me and yer get a better living perfom in Africa, SIEG HAIL" and then he build all the Nazi technology and remade many weapons upgraded them to shoot better bullets and made a custom 50 cal MG42 i made to make a MG42 barrel to fit 50cal and aircool it so it could fire over 500 bullets without barrel change

  • Great tune and even better weapon...got my host kills on ENEMY TERRITORY with one of these mother fuckers..LONG LIVE THE MG42

  • wie heist der anime in diesem video und wie heissen die filme die dort vorkommen?

  • Der anime ist Jin Roh.

  • Nice thank you!

  • the mg42 is my fav gun by far

  • the mg

  • gotta change that man, it's 1,200 to 1,500 a minute.

  • Very funny you got a MG42 in 1942, you got a MG3 or MG74 (austria) today! MG42 and MG3 are identical. So germans were hell good at weapons!

MG42 is a hell dangerous weapon! Its ligth, carried by one man. Its firing 7,92mm rounds at 1200-1500S/min. Thats about 20-25 in a second! so many rounds in one sec in your directiom. But bad is, a MG man had originally only a 50round belt and his MG tema member a 250 round box. And you have shoot you ammo avay in a shotr time. At end is MG34 not MG42.

  • German engineers have always been awesome at making killing machines.

  • Germany is always 20 years ahead of everyone

  • very true

  • lol the anime

  • 12.000 rpm, oooook xD

  • Having fired the MG-42 myself, I say that 12000 rounds per minute is wrong, it fires at 1200 to 1500 rpm, eating about 25-30 bullets a second.

  • hey man, you gotta tell me the name of that cartoon! btw, awsome vid!

  • It's an anime movie and its called:

    Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade

  • Impressive weapon, so impressive that the US military copied parts and features of it and made the M60 machine Gun...

    The movies shown are:

    Jin-Ron (Wolf Brigade)

    Aliens II

    Saving Private Ryan

    Assorted range vids.

The weapon is still in German service as the MG3, same weapon, but rechambered in 7.62mm NATO and one of the weapons used to qualify with the Schutzenschnur, along with the P8 and the G36E Assault rifle in German service.

  • WTF people! Here's the facts! The MG-42 fires at 1200 Rounds Per Minute. Its cyclic rate can be adjusted/lowered by using weights. Because this LMG is so popular, FACTs and FICTION become blurred. The maker of this video got it very wrong. It does NOT shoot 12,000 RPM. Even the minigun shoots between 3,000 to 5,000 RPM depending on what rate it's set on. A well lubricated MG-42 might fire at 1,300 RPM. But 1,800 is fiction and anyone who believes 12,000 RPM is technically challenged!

  • No its 1800rpm, fastest firing machine gun in service during ww2. still used today by many armies including German, rate of fire has been toned down though.

  • Whats the name of the music! Epic!

  • what is that cartoon

  • Jin-Roh

  • the sound in the video SUCKS

  • A.K.A the American Shredder/American Swiss Cheese Maker ( NO OFFENCE NOR STEROTYPES OF ANYKIND)

  • 12,000 rpm?!

dude that is not correct it has a rate of fire of 1200 rpm

  • it has a fire rate of 750 rpm or 950 rpm depending on which of the two blocks you put. i´ve shot with it.

  • when i said block i meant bolt sorry

  • sorry i was tlking by heart. it is exactly 750 or 1300 rpm depending on the bolt.

  • Great video, jin roh!!!

  • 2:34 MG34

  • Correct. The last one is also MG34

  • over 9000

  • what animated show is that

  • yea seriously

  • actually it's 1200 rds a minute.

  • no, it's about 1600 rounds per minute. the mg3 fires 1200 rpm, but you can deinstall a certain pin in the bolt, in the german army called "NATO break" that makes the mg3 capable of fireing as fast as the mg42, if the pin is removed (not allowed though). trust me, i had lessons on the mg3 when i was in the german army

  • As far as I know, there are NO MG42s in star wars. Those guns are MG34s. Slightly different in appearence, not much.

  • star wars...

    lol...u aint got no idea.

the black troopers are the "Wolfs Brigade" and part of an anime movie called "Jin-Roh".

The machineguns they carrie are MG-42s(in the scenes right here in the video) but in the movie they also use the MG-34

  • ok, sorry, thats why I said: "As far as I know" ... I only leave that away when I'm totally sure!

I've googled it now, and yes there are MG34s MG42 MP44s and lots of other WWII guns and stuff in the star wars movies.

haha also panther engine decks, and some spacecraft based on the p13a

  • no problem...i did not want to criticize u.

what...in star wars movies ? oO"

please post a link that i can see that.

i thought u were talking about the black troopers....i guess i was wrong about that

  • PS when I say that MG34s are slightly different in appearance, I mean when compared to the star wars version of the MG34.

I DO NOT mean the MG34 compared with the MG42, those things look completely different.

  • ok ok, but...could u please post a link 'cause i never realized that there are WWII weapons in star wars movies :D

  • as I said just google it

  • wtf a post of mine disappeared?

well in that post I said google for WWII and star wars or MG34 and star wars. You should get some interesting stuff.

also search for p13a on youtube, you shall see a vid and in those comments some guy says to me some stuff which you may find interesting.

  • MG the beSSt...

  • so is anime always gratuitously violent?

  • lol

    Star Wars and MG42^^^great

  • i think u mean the anime movie "jin.roh" while refering to star wars

  • man, do you always need such stupid music to spoil the clip

  • I'm not a big fan of music in clips either but you're dissin' on Alice in Chains and that's just wrong.

  • Dude, never dis Alice in Chains

  • hahaha good vid. what the anime called ?

  • i think HELLSING

  • And amazing video it was.

  • I've fired alot of Mauser 98 rifles and the Mosins. the Finland made Sako version of the Mosin is one of the most accurate rifles I have ever shot. of coarse no one would argue that the worst Mauser still has a buttery smooth action compared to a Mosin.. and yes 7.62x64 do kick like a mule! its a powerful cartridge.

  • Its all good.. but one should always specify if your talking about war-time MG42s or there post-war variants. all war-time guns had booster cone adjust, post-war 7.62 NATO Cal. guns (MG1,2,3 etc.) use different weight bolts and feedbelt type, the weight of the bolt also effects rate of fire.the Austrians version uses a very light bolt and when used with a somewhat worn out barrel can fire extremely high rpms (over 1500).

  • And to shasha I find that hard to believe that any German would say that, let alone anyone who had fired both rifles. I've fired a 91/30 and a model 98K and the 98 has far...FAR less recoil then the Mosin. Anyone who has fired both rifles will tell you a Mosin kicks like a damn mule.

  • I stand corrected I guess, but weren't those improvements made over the years as the rifle matured or are they really just flukes?

  • the objective was accomplished...only fools suffer the means to an end. and, can you show me a body ? ( ahem )

  • Sorry but karbinerman is no expert, I have had the pleasure of firing the MG42 and own a MG34. The model or year of the MG42 have no bearing on rate of fire. Some individual examples have been known to fire faster than others, possible due to how well it was fitted together, strength of the recoil spring, state of wear, ect.

  • The MG34 and MG42 both have an adjustable rate fire. they have a "booster cone" on the end of the barrel, rounds per min. can be adjusted by rotating the flash suppressor.. the type and of ammo also greatly effects rate of fire. for the MG34 is about 550-900rpm, MG42 in the 800-1500+range. machine guns are not meant to be accurate, they are designed to shoot a pattern like a shotgun! the 34/42 both fire from an open bolt they can't "cook-off" a round. I luv my 34 :P

  • Alice in Chains - We die young

    Anime - Jin-Roh

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Ok some low down from a German WWII weapons expert. Yes he did make a mistake. The MG42 has a cyclic rate of between 1200 and 1800 rounds per minute depending on model, and period of manufacturing. Yes it is inaccurate, and it had a bad tendency to cook off rounds. However, why do you need accuracy when you are unleashing a wall of 8MM Mauser rounds. The round is effective out to 1000 yds easy and can go through a 1/4 inch plate of carbon steel like a hot knife through butter at 100 yds.

  • its not the fastest (the mg81 coud fire at 1800 rpm and the svak max (experimental) at 2700 rpm ) but the mg 42 still my favorite

  • last one is a 34, and the rate of fire is 1.200 not 12.000. Nice compilation after all

  • pfui

  • The Germans were always a step ahead when it came to the arms race. Only up until the T-34 tank came were the Germans taken aback by anything in the field. They just couldn't overcome the numerical superiority of the Allies at the time. Good thing they lost too, otherwise they'd have been A-Bombed like Japan.

  • you are right that the germans were always a step ahead. only whites and asians have engaged in warfare on a racial level. for other races it has been merely tribal. when the a-bomb was dropped on japan it was a statement of racial superiority. we would never have used such a weapon on our own kind. this country picked up where germany left off with russia. look at russia now...I'd say that germany actually won WWII.

  • really, germany won..... is that why they surrendered and their leader killed himself.

  • Russian snipers rifles were better than Germanys, some of our Submachine guns were better.

  • But we had the first Assault rifle, wich was superior to all other weapons and the Allied/russian soldiers began to make their trousers wet, if they only heard a MG 42. The allies always used the 42, when they were able to get one instead of their own MG´s. I think that says all!

  • The mg42 and stg44 striked fear into soldiers Yes!

  • German technology was superiour \m/ and still is!

  • The Soviet AK-47 based on the German MP-44.

  • almost any assault rifle today is basically a descendant of the Stg.44.

  • but when it came to mass charges of russan infantry the MG42 wiped them up.

  • Same thing with the Germans, when waves of them came up the Russians cut them in halfe with the Maxim
