ive been running it in salt water for a while now and all i can say in terms of the boat is that im only getting some rust on the prop lug nut, other then that.......the engine is absolute SHIT because it cuts out after 30 secs and u better be wearing swim shorts.....nearly lost it to the waves once....i am going to replace it with a zenoah 26cc so that it lasts longer and is more usable then the stock engine and runs better.....its the engine thats the problem bcoz its a chinese peice of crap!!

@ghostdrive666.....You have to flush the engine after running in salt water. Everything will rust over night and your boat wont ever run again.

i think he means that this rudder cannot be lifted up, for example if you go through shallowwater with rockt on the bottom, and you hit a rock with this rudder it will break. A kickback rudder will flip upwards and will not break. :)

if it was made in the usa iam sure it would be a lot stronger than it is.. That engine is something to be desired too & wont be long untill you place it in the bin

I ran this boat for first time Memorial weekend. The scale details are what makes this boat stand out. Unfortunately, the boat is a piece of junk. The exhaust seperated on the first tank. First the cheap rubber coupler failed from exhaust header to muffler and then welds on rest of exhaust failed dumping parts inside the boat. Real nice quality. All failed on first tank of gas. Its obvious this junk is made in China.

hmm, i would like to see you put a youtube video up with your review of the boat, and show us exactly what your talkin about. get some close up shots of the inside of your boat and stuff. becouse im thinking about buying this boat and your the first one that has said anything negative about it. would be nice to see just whats going on with your boat.

Ok I have this boat now. I can hardly believe what a weak steering setup this boat has for the cost. I am going to run it for first time this holiday weekend. All my cheaper smaller boats have much better steering setups. looks like it will need lots of room to turn. Great looking boat but definitely cheap in areas. Not impressed so far.
