@ those who think they have it but its not this bad, pls go see a doctor and mention it to them. the disease does start off a minor case and gets worse. so if u think u have it u need to see a doctor cuz untreated it will get worse. my doctor put me on a series of antibiotics but by far the silver has worked way better. u can get it at any health store. its expensive but it helps. this disease not treated can also cause death if untreated. It causes infections in ur body.

I take daily pure silver. it taste really nasty but I haven't been affected since taking it. almost a year now. pure silver in liquid form works as an antibiotic, and it helps. before I found the silver supplement it got to where I was so much in pain, it was almost too much. I was diagnosed 3 years ago. its hereditary, u are born with it. :'( and it can be passed to ur children. I wudnt wish this disease on my worst enemy tho. No cure only manage it and deal with it. Losing weight also helps.

I have HS and after 5 years of suffering with it, was finally diagnosed by a specialist at U of C. I have yet to find a treatment that works for me. I understand that there is no cure but to skin graft but I refuse. This disease has affected me immensely, and I just want to find a way possibly through lasers to erradicate the hari follicles and get scar removal surgery.

many doctors mistake this for various things, you dont always get diagnosed straight away, if you tell your doctor what you think it is- then they may know you're not fucking around and refer you to a derm straight away, it took me 4 years. ive had this for 9 years, only seen a derm twice, theyre bastards. fortunately ive been diagnosed.

I've had it since I was 8, when I started fourwheeling, I started seeing them and thought nothing because I was so shy about it, and I came out about it because I thought it was cancer or something. Went to a Doctor, and he just put me on Anti-Biotics, and it didn't work. Left it alone and it's gotten horrible, on my thigh and butt, sometimes where I can barely sit... They say it's common, but I feel alone with it...

I hope there is a cure for this instead of hair removal.. I have to do that...

I'm 14 . I have it . And I got it when I was 9 . My mother has as well . It hurts so much and is so painful . I wish there was a cure . I have to deal with this pain everyday .

I have been looking for almost 2 years for my husband's diagnosis.... I'm more than positive this is it. Ive looked at every site I can and most every symptom complies to him. His is in his groin area, upper inner theighs, and waist line and butt. It comes and goes a few months at a time and he hasn't had any for a while, thankfully, and thankfully, his isn't as bad as most of the pics I've seen. Im SOO glad I've found out what it is!

Hi everyone! I too suffer from HS for over 25 yrs. On 9/5/10 a pharmacist recommended "Zinc Oxide" and now my boils under my armpit and groin areas are drying up, no pain and no oozing and it's only been 3 days of usage.
