Normally I don't dislike covers by other artists. One of my favorite is Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt. But this is (IMHO) not a good cover. You took a dark moody song about a serial killer and made a techno happy smiling shiny song out of it. Ugh it's like forcing a goth to wear a pink flower costume and toe shoes, unnatural and very wrong.
