@brgvt97 not really...it's the same tempo as they played it on Signals. If you watch early footage of this song, they race through it, because they aren't playing to a click, as they do now.
I wish there was a way Alex could focus his solo work live with less reverb and delay so it wouldn't get so lost. I understand they wanna achieve a BIG sound but I bet they'd be so surprised to learn they still can make the panties wet with dryer effects. I love Rush-hope not to offend, just a random
Again, outstanding camera and sound work, another one of my faves from that tour and the 2008 tour. This song rocks. Insane solo by Alex, and I love the extended jam at the end of this song. I took a friend who had never seen RUSH in concert to the show in SLC on 8-6-2007(we were on the 6th row) and at the end of this song he said: "these guys are amazingly tight" I just said yep, why do you think I have seen them so many times? "Excellent, Smithers, excellent!"
Kick-ass, energetic playing of this cool tune! I like this arrangement too. I wish I liked new Rush as much as this older stuff. Oh well, glad to see they still have it live.
it is amazing - the sound quality minicamcorders have today. to record open air concerts in big sheds as good as this... i mean the mix that this thing is picking up is just SILLY
This was always one of my favorites to play, (besides Hemispheres) even though our guitar player screwed it up most of the time. But we just called it the extended version. Great video, great sound but look out for the guy in front!! hahaha!! I think I have us doin' this on my site. Check it out!!.. I use my Rick on it..
OMG, what a talented band. I love the Les Paul guitar sound. The bass riff is oh so good as well as Neil's drumming. Another gem from my favorite band.
Bitchin' bass tone!! Tough riff to play. EXCELLENT sound recording. Damn I remember when you couldn't hope for this good a sound quality w/ old bootleg recordings.
This was my favorite song when it came out and now more than twenty years later it seems better now.
Thanks for posting this.
Just plain awesome.
Rush is right up there with The Dead IMO as the best band ever.

Actually, the sound was recorded separately by 'LEDZEPZOSO', and synched with he video after. Here's some audio production notes:
Equipment: Audio Technica AT853A Hyper > Beyer Dynamic MV100 > Sony PCM-M1 (line in) @ 48 MHZ
Recorded By LEDZEPZOSO - SEC L1 Row D Seat 9 (DFC)
Transfer Info: Tascam DA30 MK II> Tascam CD-RW700 > EAC > Cool Edit > Flac 8
