looked to me as if mosley was way too fast for him..margarito's hand speed sucks and hes also got slow feet to match..i dont know how much the plaster had to do with him not throwing punches..but imo he simply coudnt throw the volume of punches we're accustomed to seeing him throw do to the fact that shane was beating him to the punch every single time

shane was just a horrible style match for marg.mosley is strong and ubeleivably quick for a guy almost 40 yearls old and he still throws a shit load of punches his stamina has always been great..imo better than cottos..shane could keep that pace for 12 rounds where as cotto coudnt..plaster or not margarito more than likley would have lost that fight by stoppage..not only is shane a great athlete he's also tough as nails the guy has only been knocked down once in his entire pro career

shane is old but how can you say he's past his prime like that beating cotto gave mosley doesn't count cause mosley's old? see the beating he gave margarito, mosley is far from done unlike delahoya that dude is past his prime. and cotto won that fight against mosley thats why mosley congratulated him in the end of the fight. everytime mosley landed a shot cotto countered him and mosley ate about 4 punches. mosley even admited he never felt punches as hard as cotto everytime he traded with cotto.

well..there is a very distinct difference between being considered out of your prime and being completley washed up..delahoya is WASHED UP lol..shane is simply past his prime he has a little bit of gas left in the tank sort of speak..even at this stage of shanes career hes still a great fighter when i said that he's out of his prime i meant he isnt as good as he use to be the guys 37 years old not to mention shane was alays more of a light weight than a welter weight hes small by that standard

i gave cotto credit for beating shane..shane is still a very game fighter ..lol but this beating cotto supposedly gave mosley im not sure if we both watched the same fight..i only had cotto ahead 2-3 rounds at the end of 12..i dont remember shane ever being seriously hurt in that fight..shane did do alot of holding though which was semi out of character for him..by holding he didnt allow cotto to do any body work at all cotto won this fight with his jab he outboxed mosley that wasnt a beating

hmm...me personally i felt like mosley was holding to avoid being tagged by cottos body shots..EVERY single time they got close enough to werecotto could do his body work shane started holding..i think shane was worried about the body shots to the point that he didnt really prepare himself for anything else cotto had to offer..lol seriously i can probably count every single hard body shot cotto landed on shane with 1 hand it wasnt many thats for sure..none the less great performance by cotto

Cotto looked like he never lost to Margarito in his destruction of the number 2 ranked welterweight in the world (Jennings) To lose that way and then come back and destroy the 2nd best fighter in your weight class shows something..cotto's time isn't over and clottey a good fighter will lose to a simply great fighter. Check the people they both have fought and how they fought them. Cotto is elite. Hands down.

rankings dont mean a whole hell of alot..jennings despite being number 2 ranked was still a mediocore fighter..cotto did exactly what he was supposed to do and further more he did what he was expected to do in that fight..clottey is the most complete fighter in the division there are very few holes to pick at in his game..he's quick,strong and technically sound with superb defense clottey holds all the cards here its his fight to lose he's got cotto outclassed!
