the 5.7L acually is faster out of the hole. the 6.1L dosent shine until you get above 40 MPH they both use the nag1 tranmission and the same 480 manual. the srt-8 has a diffrent final drive ratio but its not that much diffrence. i have driven all models at my shop and in a short stoplight to stop light drag race the 5.7 wins. but on the highway the 6.1 takes over. same with the hemi truck vs. the srt-10 truck. the big srt-10 is slower untill you get up to speed.

Look guys. The SRT8 is not the fastest thing on the planet. NEWSFLASH! This thing naturally aspirated is one of the baddest production cars without getting a supercar. Is Camaro SS faster? 4.5 sec VS 4.6 seconds. Is a supercharged Mustang faster? Yup. But it's a different beast. It's gorgeous... stands up to almost anything out there. (Camaro? Not as pretty) And don't tell me looks aren't important. Trust me.... the rarity of the SRT is gonna make this one special.

I raced an SRT-8 with cut outs, cam, ported heads and some other goodies. In my 2008 Z06. My car has a Kinsler EFI cross ram manifold, long tube jett hot coated headers, Ported heads, custom grind cam, cut outs, and full tune. I knew I'd win but I thought he would at least hang...NOPE! I blew his fucking doors off. The poor guy spent a grip on that thing and got roasted...bad. I need to get a camera mount for my car. We didn't have passengers to film it. Sorry guys.

Those cars are a waste of money. Chrysler slacked off on that piece. It has the same outdated frame from a 2000 mercedes benz E class. Yep, they turned a 4 door sedan into a gigantic 2 door coupe. It weighs a million pounds. They used half of the same interior parts that my jeep has including the automatic transmission. I mean seriously, a challenger and a jeep share a shifter and trans c'mon! The worst part is, it's effing slow. The new SS Camaro is way faster and a better buy for the $.

The Challenger just has way more space, is bigger, and drives like a luxury car, not a sports car, even though it is VERY fast. I've driven both numerous times, still love the Challenger, couldn't stand driving in that tight-spaced Camaro SS every day, regardless of how fast it is.

My best friend has the SS and i have the SRT8. He likes the way mine drives better. It's tighter in turns and has less body roll. The SRT8 is faster through the slalom anyways. and this 10K more? EVERY Camaro I've seen has been selling for around 40,000- 50,000. Get your facts straight. My friend bought his for sticker at 43K.

No, no, no... the viper is horrid, an 8 liter v10 that only produces 600hp and costs 91 grand? Why would anyone in their right mind buy that when you could have a Nissan GT-R for 70 grand. The srt-8 engine only produces 425 horsepower which is also pathetic for a 6.2 liter, again, would way rather have the GT-R. And as for the charger, what the hell would i want a family sedan thats heavy and has no power for?

The amount of driver input that is required to drive a Viper well far surpasses that which is needed to drive a GT-R. A Competition Coupe is a purpose built race car, while the Viper SRT-10 ACR is a performance street car that has the second fastest lap time (production car) of the Nürburgring at 7:22.1, destroying the Nissan GT-R's time of 7:29. Nice car overall. Tails can be VHT Niteshaded for same effect (13 dollars a can, spray it on the tails w/ light, even coats) Clear if u want, but vht niteshades has a gloss to it already.
