I was really shocked when I was spotting at Melbourne Airport and saw my first Dash 8. They are much larger than I thought! I have a landing of a QantasLink DHC-8 in one of my videos.
@GoingToBeAPilot1 - yer, I saw your Dash 8 video......was the icecream van in the carpark at the end of RWY 16 when you were there? he made a lot of money out of me, lol.
@lethalCT4E He's always there at some point when I spot. I've only been spotting at Melbourne twice, both at runway 16 (I take the bus). I haven't bought an icecream from him yet, probably because I don't want to miss anything special
