  • I love this tune! Really good , a magic groove !

  • What a sound !!!

  • Amazing!

    You are very talented!

  • That's simply amazing! :)

  • Hi, this is a very strong, maybe even meditative piece, well played, great in timing, too!

Thanx a lot, and keep them coming - it´s great playing you do here!

    Frank

  • @FrankRMusic Thank you kindly my friend. :-)

  • As a great fan of Preston Reed, I must admit this is a pretty good cover man !!

You gave me the will of covering this masterpiece too !! Thanks a lot !!

  • @TheHappyLeperBeaver You are very welcome, its a great song with an awesome array of techniques. Bit by bit it comes together, The hardest thing about learning it, is getting the relax groove that is inherent in all his stuff, even though his music is spectacular to watch, it is still deeply seated in groove. I am looking forward to hear your take on it, I will have Night Ride up soon as well, hope you get a chance to give it a listen. Have a great day. Thanks for the nice c omment.

  • @guitpicker You're welcome sir ! And because I haven't got enough time to work on this cover (I work on some shred techniques these days) I wouldn't be able to post a cover of this great music !! But If you want to check my channel, I'll post in the next days some other covers, of Incubus and of Rodrigo Y Gabriela ... so If you got the time, check them ^^

And thanks agains for covering Mr Reed :)

  • can you give me the real tunning ?because when im tune on cgdggd it's not correct

  • @BizzarousTurtles The tuning that is used to match the recording is " B flat, F,C,F,F,C " hope this helps. :-)

  • @guitpicker Thank you very much :D

  • Well done man, great version!

  • @methodinsane Thanks Man, for the kind words. Cheers

  • Wayne, this is awesome my friend!!!

    Sanjay

  • @sunjaylal2010 Thank you for the kind words Sanjay have a wonderful day my friend : -)

  • @guitpicker

you're my idol, are you using a mic/?

  • @josimonkeyman Hi there, for recording all I did was plug the acoustic into the amp for volume and just recorded atmospherically with the camera, not to fancy yet, but I plan on upgrading soon. Thanks for the appreciation. :-)

  • Brother, this is incredible !!! Coooooool !!!

  • @Ingorin Thanks man for your kind words, Preston Reed's music utilizes so many subtle yet brilliant techniques, his music always proves to be a challenge to learn, but offers a great sense of accomplishment Tractor Pull is a cool example of many of his techniques. After a while it feels as though the hammer-ons and pull-offs are galloping along LOL. Great fun!

  • Well with what you said . . . i have trying to branch out and learn and appreciate different artists . . . and this is my favorite song by Mr. Reed !!! He is one of the trailblazers of this great art of fingerstyle and i need to appreciate and learn more of his stuff :)

GREAT COVER man is sounds like Mr. Reed himself played this and you are just dubbing over . . . . GREAT performance !!

  • @jacecrawford Thank you so much, for your incredibly kind words. His music has really inspired me to do different things. He just seems like a really nice guy, and miraculously laid back while he performs. I've learned allot just because of that. Thanks man for watching.

  • Well done!

  • Thank you for your kind words, great music on your channel as well. Cheers

  • could you send me a link to the tab ? im buying it !!!

  • This great tab is found at Preston's online store. If you go to his site, along the right hand side of the page there is a link to it. Have fun, Preston Reeds music is incredible.

  • how did you learn this ? i really want to learn this one

  • I learned this one by watching and listening to it probably a million times lol, then I purchased the tab from Preston Reeds online store. He has great tabs very accurate. A little of practice and your fingers just get use to galloping along. Took me 2 weeks of sweat but its totally worth it. You'll love it

  • It sounds like a band playing there is bass and guitar and some drums all in one guitar nice.

  • Hi Jamie sometimes I don't know what instrument to play, so this song takes care of it all LOL, thanks for watching, your awesome :-)

  • The sound is much better on this one.

  • Hey man, yeah this one is better, but I still need to improve my equipment. Maybe when I'm rich. LOL
