What exactly does it mean to promise on someones life? Are they thinking that if you break the promise that the loved one will magically die? How reality based is that. I would not be offended if someone swore on my life because it's superstitious nonsense - just like I don't worry that if I step on a crack I'll break my mother's back.

and the survivor curse strikes again. for those who dont know what the survivor curse is... the curse is which ever survivor wins the car never wins survivor (in all 18 seasons)
@longhairfan Technically Rob won the car challenge and lost the game in the end. Amber was given a car because Rob chose her to join him. Maybe the curse only happens to challenge winners. :p
