My favoutite DOI routine ever. There is just something so magical about watching this. Gives me goosebumps every time I watch it without fail. i hope he is still good on this year's tour. He blew me away last year and fully deserved to win. Not that I didn't like Hayley this year though. She was a worthy winner too.

i used to rollerblade and ice skate when i was younger, and the techniques are different, whenever i used to ice skate and then go rollerblading i would fall and vice versa it feels so different to rollerblade than to iceskate, but it would of helped him with balance and his dance background also helped him, whatever way you look at it he is a fantastic iceskater and he really worked hard and put in the hours of training to get as good as he did it also helps not having being scared and he wasnt

I can roller blade and I've only tried ice skating once, I fell and hit my head on the ice. I would never be able to be in something like this.

Did you ever see anybody else doing the footwork that Ray did? I think not! I think that all those calling Ray a 'show off' should re-think they're comments! Is rollar blading really an advantage to getting up there preforming footwork like that and jumping and landing properly? No, it is not! Yes, it helps you with balance and control, but by no means gives you an advantage!

Not disregarding all the other celebs that skated on the show as well! Fantastic series! ;)

Roller skating is nothing like ice skating, wheels are much thicker than a metal blade, I have done both and being good at one doesn't mean you will be at the other.

As far as posture goes, Jessica was in a pop band andsang and danced and was also a trained dancer so Ray didn't have an advantage there. jessica was very unlucky to make it to the final two, but Ray was better throughout the whole compertition and not just on the final night.

Ray could skate but only for fun, he hadn't ever had any lessons. I think he took to skating well because his dancing ability gave him good posture and balance etc as well as being a performer. Also he was young and fearless

The thing that annoys me about this programme is that it uncovers such talent and they improves so quickly over the weeks under T&D's training. Then you look at the state of GB ice skating in competition. Apart from a few exception such as the Kerrs, we are really struggling. If only we could find this talent at an early age - it's out there, we just need to get more people into rinks.
