  • That was absolutely phenomenal! :) I LOVED it. Thank you for making me and my friend laugh.

  • Rock in each arm pit?? Cooling off in a badger hole?? Fence crossing?? Always blows west?? And I think I saw a bullet hole in the gopher when you snared it. Haha, this is so great!! Don't stop making videos.

  • This is great!! The prairie mosquitoes, they "really suck"... lol! And fence crossing... and cooling off in a badger hole... Oh MY!! ROFL...

AND, thanks for this taste of home. Love the prairie landscape, with the Sweet Grass Hills in the background... yep, once a prairie girl, always a prairie girl!

  • Yay southern Alberta!

  • You got me hooked when you rolled backwards :)

  • lol...gummy worms...lol

  • hahahaha theres a bullet hole in your snared gopher :D LOL!... i think this might be a fake lol!

  • you even said VITAMIN right!!!! way to Go Leroy : ) lol

  • ''Where I show you stuff'' Hilarious! Let's see if a gopher really does look like a hot dog after I burn it for a while.

  • I've gotta try these techniques sometime.

  • This has got to be one of your best. Please do more.

  • Wowzer!! Thats just amaizing!! That he could survive in the wilds!! But I hope he was not to attached to his trowzers.... cus theyz on the other side of the fence.... I used to live 50 miles for the Montana Alberta border. Good job!! Its a fun movie.

  • waaaaat, fence posts in wild alberta?

  • Beautiful country that ya'll shot this in !

  • The accent was rather inconsistent and a lot of it seemed a bit much but the fact that you legitimately held a gopher corpse over a fire made it all worth it lol (even if you didn't actually eat it)

  • Please tell me that REALLY was not a cow pie!!! ugh lol

  • @Stand4Truth88

It looks like a rock to me XD

  • This one is by far my favorite!

  • Wow. That was hilarious!

  • Well done! It had the look and feel of something off the discovery channel, but much more interesting. The accent was spot on.

  • I loved it. right down to the lighter fluid!!!!!!! eerrr i ment alberta wood..

  • How does something like this get 1,784 views?

  • This is your BEST yet!

  • Wow, no animal rights here. I would have ate the gopher. but the hot dog looked good too.

  • that gives a whole new meaning to the PRAIRE!

  • That was hilarious!!! My sweet children saw the "cooked gopher" and said, 'Did he burn the head and hide off somehow" LOL

    Heather

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA I LAUGHED SO HARD!!! I love it! It's definitely my new favorite

  • This was amazing, best one yet!!! I laughed so hard; you guys should make a sequel.

  • I was half expecting the bus driver to keep going after Leroy stopped to use "safety and proper technique" for crossing the fence.

Great job on the accent. This was hilarious.

  • "Where I show you stuff." That's good. :-D

  • I laughed so hard! Thanks for the tips on crossing barbed wire safely!

But wait, were there really gophers hurt in the making of this film?

Love the accent and just everything! So much fun!

  • And your cooked gophers look like hot dogs.

  • Your gophers look like our prairie dogs.... ; )

  • Thank you for all your extremely wise and useful instruction! I'm sure it will save my life someday. The nose protection from mosquitoes will come in especially handy, I'm sure. (Why didn't I think of that before?)

Anyway, this is the all-time funniest Jostie Flick ever! Totally swoosh. :)

  • hahahaha...gophers like to put these around there waste.

  • Lol wow I loved it :D Especially hopping the fence! Good job

  • "One of the first things to think about when placed in the wild is FOOD. You simply cannot live without it."

  • The Hot Gopher was hilarious. Good accent, too. It's hard to maintain that all the way through.

    Make more!

  • Dear Sir, I am an aspiring butcher's apprentice-in-training hopeful and I would just like say how inspirational your video is for me. Your tried-and-true experience could save thousands of lives in isolated hamlets like Calgary and maybe even prairie disaster zones such as East Alberta's Saskatoon and Regina. I sincerely hope that one day I too will be able to master prairie methods and prepare Gofer Venison as carefully as you do. Exceptional!

  • Longest one yet! :D

  • Are the fly's for real?
