If you could just like put a mic on that bell, it would be perfect. not saying it isnttttt but the bell is used a lot and i can't hear it:P BUT GOOD WORK!!!!!
the snare just sounds so dull im sure your quality will improve as you make more covers. great cover:) but you should make a vid explaining how to set up the recording stuff cuz im starting too get my recoording gear and i need someone to make a vid like that. so if you could plz:)
@iseecolin oh dude trust me its hard stuff, i need to see that how to vid haha i sat there for hours by myself going back and forth with levels, need better headphones and its just a piece of work but im getting there thanks man, i appreciate the comments
@TVinthehouse103 I got some Seinheisser studio headphones (about 100 bucks) from Guitar Center, and they are amazing for adjusting levels.Make sure you plug them into your computer and monitor from there though, because you get a completely different mix plugging directly into the mixer and it can make your recorded sound WAY different than what you hear.I don't have a video up to show you my quality with mics because I'm away at college, but trust me a good pair of headphones makes it 10x better
@imdarrellkthx i feel using more toes is faster then trying to use your whole calf and leg. when i play i dont really use crazy techniques but when i want something clean i usually use my toes to really clean up the fast playing like 16th to 32nd notes for my feet.
@imdarrellkthx well the audio in all form was too low thats why i told him to mix in the drums more with the song, but after reading it just now realized i ment for him to turn up everything. i can tell he is not using toes by the way his knee's are moving. kinda a weird thing to notice but something i picked up from playing and drum technician work with other bands. if you watch joey from slipknot use's toes at the end of his pedals and bounces it.
your snare has some good punch. on your feet try pushing in more with your toes for the fast parts. and have the music a bit louder mix your drums in good enough to tell the difference. other than that pretty good.
@lakuna the music was perfect, id rather hear him drumming ontop of faint music than listening hard to hear his drumming to music. Furthermore, how do you know he wasn't using his toes?
and btw, u gained another subscriber.
