Hi i love your recipes. I was wondering if you've heard off Sambal Chicken or Wet Buttermilk Chicken. If you do and know how to cook em, could you do a video pls? Thanks.
Looks so yummy! Although I think it's common sense, you might want to mention to wash your hands after touching the raw chicken. Also, I'm sure you used a fresh plate for the cooked stuff, but it looks like the same plate used for the raw chicken. Some folks out there, may not realize about cross-contamination and stuff. Nice job. I'm going to make it this week!
@tattooyu Yes, that is a good idea. I always assume that most people know, but you are right, there are probably a lot of people out there who don't realize it -especially those just learning how to cook. Thank you :)
Hi Lila how RU? Your Mongolian chicken looks lovely and the sherry is an interesting touch. Now to tell the truth I have never seen a Mongolian chicken have you?........Just teasin'! Looks yummy!
@MrEZCooking lol! I would think a Mongolian chicken might look like Tori Spelling's pet chicken Coco - she is soo fluffy and cute! It makes me not want to eat anything but fish and veggies :)
@isavannahhicks Hi - The sesame oil would not do very well b/c it has a low smoke point, which would make it burn in this dish. You could use vegetable oil, but then cut up a little ginger, garlic and green onion and add it as well since these flavors are already infused in the stir fry oil :)
@ArchieLovesMe She is always in the kitchen watching "mom" cook - just in case I drop something tasty lol! And believe it or not she's not a puppy, she's almost 10 years old! Last year when we adopted her they told us she was 9. We didn't believe it just looking at her, but now that we've had her, she has had quite a few health problems so we're pretty sure that age is right; but she is still my "little baby" :)
@bum4862 There are actually many different versions of this recipe. Depending on where you live, restaurants will use varying ingredients. Many of my recipes generally reflect the Americanized versions of dishes; so they would be like what you would find at a Chinese restaurant here. Though I have done serveral recipes that my grandmother would cook as well :)
Looks very good.... thanks for letting us know what the ingredients are. You make it look easy, but we know its not.

Sherry is an interesting add in this recipe Lila. What kind of stir-fry oil do you use for your cooking?
eateastIndian 5 months ago
@eateastIndian I use the Asian Gourmet brand of stir fry oil. I love it and use it on almost everything :)
