In a nutshell, anyone of any age plays with LEGOs or does innovative with them, only children play with little green men and even then it's usually when they don't have something better to play with. That's been the heart of what America stands for since we came here, slautered the Indians, pillaged their lands, utilized slavery, the list goes on. The whole process took 2 days to shoot, most of it was the setting up process. There was only 12 minutes of acutal footage cut down to 3 minutes.

In answer to other questions, the lego men lose because their loss represents the death of childhood replaced by the ugly bitter truths of war and chaos.
