if you are religious then you are pretty much not allowed to believe in DNA because that is a huge contradiction. if you believe in god then you believe that god creates and decides what we look like and weather we are male or female etc. But in the real world it was proven that DNA determines all of those, our traits, our sex, and all our disabilities. and you go and relate all these things to god

These people are going to a clinic to remove genetic diseases from the child. Counsel should be sought for cosmetic changes, as there are a few that carry some unexpected consequences (the blue eye trait may cause minor color blindness and darker skin may carry risk of vitamin D deficiency).
