@Yoga1978 So MSNBC never steers their actual reporting?Everybody knows what the so called media is up to.Why is Fox number one? Could you be so much smarter than a large percentage of the population? Dont be afraid to use facts instead of feelings.
@Illumirage over 90% of western scientists are left winged, so your little joke about liberals doesn't make much sense.
i am not judging them based on one reporter, fox news has displayed anti-scientific opinions again and again, the most famous fox news host doesn't even understand how tides work (grade 3 science).
and i was judging the fox news audience, which are statistically shown to be the most ignorant and misinformed, thus high level particle physics would probably be far beyond them.
@Illumirage time for deductive reasoning. statistics show that those with university education are more likely to be left winged (therefore less likely to be right winged). statistics also show that the more educated someone is, the less likely they are to be christian. we can therefore conclude that fox's audience (generally right winged christians) are not likely to have the education required to understand high level particle physics, this is therefore too complicated for them. bye now.
@Illumirage holy shit you're dense. did i say no right wingers go to college? no. i said college is MORE LIKELY to turn you left winged and irreligious, therefore if you are religious and right winged, it is LIKELY that you are not college educated.
deductive reasoning will lead to the conclusion that the AVERAGE right winged christian (fox audience) has not received the education required to understand the complexities of high level particle physics. therefore i'm right you're wrong. goodbye
@Illumirage "sigh" not all right winged christians are uneducated, they are UNLIKELY to be university educated. therefore the AVERAGE education of right winged christian is below university level. yes you will find exceptions because i'm talking trends, and averages. since my original comment is about the AVERAGE fox news audience, the educated minority is irrelevant.
also, is graduating from a top 25 US college supposed to be impressive.
@Illumirage canada is ranked 6 in the world for primary education, america is 28th. that being said, america is ranked 1st for secondary education (even though oxford is ranked #1 university)
the university i'm going into is mcgill university 1st in canada, top 20 worldwide. but that's not why i'm unimpressed by university rankings. i'm unimpressed because anyone with a 90% average in highschool can get into a top university. but that's no measurement of intelligence or worth.
It may be 28th in K-12, but that's just because many urban areas drag down the rest. And areas in the South where education is hindered by teachers going over their entire lecture, and then having to do it all over again in Spanish. Canada, luckily doesn't have that issue. But, there are areas where the primary education is exceptional.
Just a second here. I'm not arguing just to argue, but if tests aren't a measure of ones intelligence, what are? Maybe not worth, but intelligence..?
@Illumirage i went to a top highschools in my province, in advanced placement, with a 97.4% average. does that make me more likely to win a nobel price? no. anyone with a 3 digit IQ can achieve a 97% average, it's a matter of how much they study. i had classmates with 100% averages, but they studies 5 hours a day. i also have classmates with 80% averages who simply glance over their notes 10 minutes prior to a test. who's more intelligent?
@Illumirage i have classmates with high marks in physics going into waterloo university (canada's MIT) to become great engineers or whatever. but they will probably not achieve what Einstein did (and he struggled through school)
and also, i'm not attacking america's school system (it has problems, but so does any system). but even if you take all that into account, america still won't make top 10 (imo) and the number one nation was china, where most students don't even have the proper supplies.

Yeah, as opposed to their Liberal counterparts who couldn't put their bong long enough to even watch this.
This reporter is out of his element on this one, but I wouldn't knock the entire network because of one bonehead. Asshole.

Plenty of Right-wingers go to college. You're oversimplifying it.
Bye now.

Wow, you're not condescending at all.
It wasn't about whether there are or aren't. I said there are plenty. Going against your assertion, therefore one can deduce that you are wrong.
No, I only have a graduate degree at a top 25 U.S. college, way to assume though.
Goodbye.

Well considering American higher educating trumps pretty much other country, including Canada, possibly...
