My grandad died today. He was like one of my best friends. It was his birthday in three days and i told him we'll go out somewhere. He was in so much pain all he could do was raise his eyebrows. he opened his eyes smiled and waved at me then closed his eyes again. I left the hospital, days later my mum got a call from my dad and she said shall i tell them or shall you? i knew something was up. My dad stopped round later tonight and told us grandad passed away at around 2am this morning. I cried.

My grandpa died today, 30/10/2011 at about 2:00 am. I haven't cried yet... but I can't stop this lump in my throat from growing and growing...

I'm sort of happy in a way though, because I know that he's not suffering anymore. RIP Grandpa, I love you. <3

My grandpa died in December from bone cancer the last time I saw him was the summer I was going into 3rd grade there was nothing the doctors could do he had it for 5 years no one knew, it killed me when he died. I talked to him on the phone he said he couldn't wait to see me that summer, but he died before I saw him :'(

My grampy died when I was 4... I have few memories :(. But I remember that he said we were a team. He said we were a team, and I remember he would hi five me. He said we were a team for ever. Great video. This made me cry. My grandfather isn't dead but he's getting older. He wanted to go into the Army as a kid but couldn't because of Polio. He's instilled a love for the military over the 14 years I've known him and I want to go into the Marine Corp before he dies. He's 73 now and is fairly good shap for someone of his age. I just hope he'll last another 3-10 years at the minimum.

I kept a photo of him in my purse ever since he passed away just so I know he's always there with me. (:

He passed away at age 79. And the sad thing is, he lived in a different state than we did and we were going to visit him this past summer, but we had to cancel those plans.

his funeral is on thursday. we are leaving wednesday to go there cus it takes about 6 or 7 hours to get there. he is also gonna be creamated (which means they are goinna burn him to ashes) cus thats what he told my grandma...
