You have bewitched an old Englishman with your skill and artistic performance. I heard of Gusli when I was a young man back in 1960's. I visited Moscow in 1980's and bought vinyl discs of Gusli music. Now then Olga; believe this if you can. I made myself a Gusli because I was so fascinated by the magic sound. It is only a simple version and I cannot play it. My fingers are like bunches of Bananas. Until now, I never heard such beautiful music as yours, Thank you very much.
I love how you worked on the dynamics. If you compare this version with the previous video you uploaded with this song, it shows how much you have grown over the years. Keep growing, I'm sure I'm not the only one that absolutely LOVES your playing.
Really love your performance of this beautiful melody. Thank you for your inspiration! I found your video because I was researching gusli. There is a Russian folk tale about a Tsarino who saves her husband from an evil King by playing the guslay. Do you know the story?
If you have titles or info about those other stories I would love to find them. BTW, your video has been shared on a harp list called the Virtual Harp Circle and many of the harpists on it have fallen in love with your playing. Brava!
Olga you hunt magic with hands. You are a living book if people just watch at your playing, a sound reference when one realize the different strengths each string is vibrate the way you do it. Lets jam it on Brazilian black magic again and soon :) Cheers from Edu & Sanna
a very expressive and striking performance. gorgeous sound and visually striking as well. very pretty woman. love the way her hands and arms look when she is playing. every part of her performance and visual is in perfect "harmony". thanks! the sound was really great too. was there an internal mic or was it recorded from a distance?
Thank you for your comment :) No, there is no mic or amplification needed even when playing with a symphony orchestra! Gusli has a very powerful sound.
why the usage of the green screen?

Great to hear that! The most famous legend is about Sadko. I'm sure there must be English versions available on Internet.
