Ya know I really like Rick's work. Really, I do. However, in comparison with his solo works, I'd rate this album last. It's not bad, but it definitely didn't suit him well. This was out-of-genre for Rick, if you will. While it's true that it demonstrated his versatility, at the same time it sounded a lot like everything else that came out in the early 80's... just not my style I suppose. Wet Dream & Broken China are fucking awesome though...
This song has awesome atmosphere, although the synthesized brass at the end is a little harsh sounding, but overall this is one of the better uses of the synths on the album--it's not poppy like "Confusion", nor does it go to far into electropop like some of the tracks do--actually, it does a much better job of bringing the "Pink Floyd sound" into the 80s than most of Momentary Lapse, IMO
I actually really like this. It's too bad that Rick didn't like it. He said that Zee was an experiment that should have never been released. Oh well, I think it's pretty cool.
As a big fan of both, I've looked for this rarity for years. So glad to have a chance to hear some of it. Big thank you!

What a rare but facsinating musical gem, it's almost hypnotizing... XD
Voices inside you, they reason, they guide you
If you believe, in what you want to be, you'll find your destiny by listening to voices
Voices that call you, through feelings inside you
Voices that call you, through feelings inside you :3

I don't know about you guys but I can definitely hear a hint of Floyd in this one.

There's a crackpot called butlincat1 who is trying to pass this off as Floyd! HE must be re-educated since he is an arrogant, nasty, obscene fool.

I had this on vynil nearly on the day it came out. Uncouth yet eerily attractive. But Dave Harris really shouldn't be singing.

It kinda' remindes me of "Welcome to the Machine" from "Wish You Were Here". It also makes me want some sushi for some reason.
