You can hardly hear anything but the Guitar And Jay's Singing. I mean if anyone has ever heard the skirts you would know that John (the drummer) plays A LOT louder than that... in a good way though, and that alone is proof that the audio just sucks here.

Actually, this is what they really sound like. They are playing on a SOUND stage which is designed for the best possible broadcast acoustics. The audio does not suck, they do.
Actually I have seen them live and I do know what I am talking about. Blaming poor audio on flat singing, mediocre musicianship and amateur song writing skills is just a lame excuse for a poor performance. If anything, poor audio covers up these inadequecies, like their loud live performances, rather than the studio in this video. By the way, I have never seen a band more appropriately named. "Modern Skirts" is a perfect description of the band, their music and their male fans.

The audio in this recording is horrible. It doesn't do these guys one ounce of justice! They sound SOO much better than this.

I use to be jay and jojo's supervisor and i can tell u that these guys are awesome.. but i'll agree they sound better than this

I've seen them a couple of times in Athens, GA and they usually sound better than this. They're a group to watch.
