@chopper63d What would be cool is to make a small inline device to "T" into the recirculated air line that simulates the BOV. Then you'd have the sound at the correct time and no CEL. Think of a tiny tiny turbo made from plastic and a small whistle. I have a 99' 9-3 SE, so I can dump to atmosphere, but if I'm bored one day I might try to make something inline. It'd be hilarious to put a "kazoo" on the end. It be buzzing at idle and whistling when dumping. Now I wanna try it!
I wonder if they still make those those "tube" like plastic Kazoo's from the 80's? They were about 2inch long, maybe 5/8's in dia. and had a little metal plate in the middle that looked like a round cheese grater. I bet if you could still find one at a toy store, it'd fit in the hose AFTER the BOV's return to inlet line, creating a slight whistle as it'd be muffled a bit using a stock intake. Probably sound like a super charger and mean. A different idea than an inline contraption to mimic.
