I don't know enough to comment on everything you mentioned, lamborger, but I do know a little bit about the real history of the Civil Rights of 1964 shows that in the House, 80% of Pubs voted for the act, while 63% of Dems did; meaning 91 Dems voted against the Act, compared to 35 Pubs. In the Senate, 21 of the 27 "No" votes, were Dems, 6 were Pubs. Between both the House and Senate, Dems made up 78% of the total "No" vote.
Such democratic luminaries of the time who were against the act included Al Gore Sr., Bill Clinton's mentor William Fulbright, and Robert "KKK" Byrd. I don't know enough to comment on everything you mentioned, lamborger, but I do know a little bit about the real history of the Civil Rights of 1964 shows that in the House, 80% of Pubs voted for the act, while 63% of Dems did; meaning 91 Dems voted against the Act, compared to 35 Pubs. In the Senate, 21 of the 27 "No" votes, were Dems, 6 were Pubs. Between both the House and Senate, Dems made up 78% of the total "No" vote.

The last sentence of Joe Biden's speech was not remarked on by most t.v. stations. His last sentence indicated that Obama has a spine of steel, which indicated that he believed he'd be great if faced with a crisis. Some idiot reporter ran out right before that sentence. Probably from Fox News.

Hey, lpatterson328, IT'S OVER! Based on the newest poll released today, Obama has a 10 point lead, and pulling away, and the poll points to one major reason. Even more than the , only got in because of affirmative action for the rich, W, the biggest reason is Sarah Palin, and Grumpy McSames judgement in selecting her.
Guess that's one Hail Mary play that did NOT work. Now she can skitter her dumb ass back to Alaska and face more ethics investigations.
