Vevo is a way to make money, but not for YouTube, my friend. Their agreement is a load of bollocks and YouTube got the short stick because they have no leverage.

YouTube's ads used to be far from intrusive and were effective. Ads on the video itself? Annoying, but bearable. Blocking content in many countries? Almost as effective as having YouTube presenting a written statement that they took the YOU off YouTube.
