@rsmoz No special drivers are necessary. The RFID breakout uses FTDI drivers which are easily available if not already installed. Then you just need a terminal. As mentioned before, Arduino is an easy way to get a Terminal on Mac
Hello Tim, you are doing a really great work with this video tests. I'm working with ID-2 chip and the reason why it didn't "beep" is because this reader doesn't have an integrateg antenna like ID-12 and ID-20, so you have to build one by yourself and it will work.
My Sparkfun RFID not connect !!!, my money thrown away. Black box pins do not connect well to the printed circuit, someone had my problem?. Sorry for my English
Belive it or not Free energy is real,But the big oil corporations don't want that technology revealed,Get a real free energy motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Be the revolution!
Maybe you can clarify me with something. Is it possible to write to an RFID tag? Card, Button, Glass pill, keychain, whatever? and if so, wich hardware would you need to do so with an Arduino if necessery.
Can it open school infrared doors what can be open with magnetic chip?

This video is great! You should do one like it for rangefinders, GPS or LCD's. Or all of them!
