  • @MrNightshade69 cheers mate but this is not to be painted as its made from 316 stainless steel which will never rust, this final brushed finish is perfect imo, although mirror finish is beautiful but takes more work, good luck with yours :)

  • @SnyperMac i bet but im sure my files would dissagree X) this was hard enough to work with :)

  • @ARCEYE78 yea a grinder is somewhat important

  • @SnyperMac gorgeous knife btw

  • nice job!!!!

  • @funnyrees thanks :)

  • Excellent job on the knife, but why did you choose a low carbon stainless? Is it just for decorative purposes?

  • @ArtistBlade1972 Thankyou and yes purely for decorative reasons as i love stainless steel and i happened to have a nice lump craving attention :)

  • @ARCEYE78 Cool :) Don't try forging it though because it'll work you to death..

  • @ArtistBlade1972 i bet...maybe one day i'll make a forge as im keen to try it, i have a youtube friend who has invited me to come over to use his forge,i will take him up on that offer soon X)

  • @ARCEYE78 Oh you should definitely make one. You will become addicted. It's very easy to get started forging... The possibilities are endless also. Check out some of my vids..

  • Very nice would be really cool if u made the knife like stiletto making the knife part of the knuckle duster hidden.

  • @znile1 thankyou, i was thinking of making the blade to fold into the duster but the project would of dragged out too much for me and i am very limited with tools, just if i had a mill then many more things could be made :)

  • That knife is amazing that its handmade.

  • @BriFryeProductions thankyou :)

  • @ARCEYE78 how s it hand made it looks fake jus sayin

  • @MrToflyy well i used my hands to make it LOL, im assuming your not 19 as your channel states as your comments are sounding like someone much much younger, you would go further in life by avoiding comments like your first on here, i like to think the pics at the end explain it all.

  • Awsome man! Really good job on the stainless steel stuff. Really, really hard to work with for sure! Job well done mate! Did you see my 25mm aluminium knuckleduster yet?

  • Nice work!!! I've never played with stainless. Don't know if I'ld have the tools. Did you make the blade too or did I hear you say that you welded it in?

    5*s

  • thanks D no the blade was from a knife i got from greece but looked right so yes i welded it in :), im building a stainless replica pistol with a bayonette under the double barrel and that blade has come out very nice, not sure when it will be finished as im building shotgun targets at the moment including a Texas star for my practical shotty club as their targets are very poor so i thought i'll do em some proper ones, if you have any vids of stuff ya made send em to me :)

  • @ARCEYE78 that would be too many vids. I'm gonna be doing some work to a Black Buck Antler/Horn that I will tape.

  • thanks ksm glad ya liked it :)

  • An extremely nice and successful project there. A lot of effort is evident in the finished item, especially the way you managed to incorporate the blade so well. A passion for the material reflects in the quality of any project, Nice one !! 5X5Fav&Save !

  • thanks r777 im very glad you liked it :)

  • Excellent piece indeed. Do you think you may need to put a couple of cross-pins in to hold the blade? Can you make me a video cam scope holder?!!!!!! ;)

  • thanks mate...the blade is fully welded into the handle/duster so wont be going nowhere :) sorry i have not got back to you on the mount yet, i'll send you my details on the weekend:)

  • Beautiful mate, makes me jealous, lol, i don't really have the tools for Steel, maybe one day,

looks great, and must have took a long time to make.

    5 stars and faved,

    Mike.

  • Thanks mike your comment really means alot:)as i said months ago seeing your vids reminded me of my unfinished trench knife & gave me the motivation to get it finished, to be honest i didn't use any special tools, just

like yourself i chain drilled the holes, filed them smooth and just used a grinder with a flap disk to smooth and shape, just takes a lot more effort, that fileing was a nightmare lol!! really done my hands in as im not used to it :)

i have a 2 finger to upload u may like too:)

  • looking forward to seeing that too mate.
