Those are among the easiest to get out of cranes. Since they are filled with air it doesn't need as much grip as say something in a small box. Cranes are based off of number of plays. And when it reaches that number of plays it makes the grip a lot better and that's when you mostly win the prizes... That is if you can get on target.

@alwin523 The door to claim your prize is locked until you win a prize, when it is unlocked (you see in the video) a second door closes at the top of the chute preventing someone from reaching in and pulling more stuff out. While it probably wouldn't be hard to get around this feature, the management desk was RIGHT next to the machine. They probably would have noticed.
