  • THIS DOG IS SINGING ITS HEART OUT

  • what is the song from? i only know one song called Brave Heart and thats from Digimon

  • I actually felt compelled to applaud at the end. LOL So cute.

  • )))))))))

  • Shame on you ! This is Torture !

  • Pure raw emotion :)

  • LOL! Basenji dogs are one of the best ever! I have a German Shepherd Basenji Mix and she knows how to baroo to music! Just love those coats and tails they have!

  • OHHH- Poor William Wallace.. SOO sad, thinks the Basenji! LOL.

  • I gata get a Besenji eventually...such adorable dogs

  • So true...such emotion!

  • It's amazing that this dog doesn`t know how to cry. Very emotional dog. i'm in love

  • Oh god, it sounds like Sara Goldfarb.

  • She's quite the dramatic performer. Can you get her to sing to Moonlight Sonata?

  • ahhhhh my nipples they hurt! they hurt when i twist them!

  • Moim zdaniem psa bolą zęby od tej gry, proponuję właścicielowi przerzucenie się na gitarę akustyczną a dolegliwości u psa powinny zniknąć.

  • :o

  • Awwwww i hav a bisinji but she iznt as talented =)

    Ps. Barkless dog not! XD

  • Awwwww i hav a bisinji but she iznt as talented =)

  • Encore!

  • kyjugkAVIsgdffkd agdfl G'awwwwwwwwww

  • Hahaha meeeeoooowwww

  • "Braveheart" is my favorite movie- Basenjis- my favorite dogs.

  • sounds like a cat...

  • 0:40 sound's like a cat hmm

  • That's exactly what I feel like doing when I watch Braveheart

  • We raised and showed Basenjis. They are very sweet dogs...but rather stupid (and we had several).

The dogs whose images were carved in the pyramids! Yet eons of in-breeding have not enhanced their IQ. To the contrary... ;-)

All our Basenjis hated other dogs...and the bigger the other dog was, the more they hated him. Unfortunate...

  • @rannrudisill wow! I usually dont post on utube but felt I had to this time. Basenjis are FAR from dumb. Cant believe someone who supposedly bred them would say that. It' their high intelligence along with their catlike aloofness that can make it a challenge to train them so they get the "primitive" description. As far as them hating other dogs, that frankly is a sign of the owner and not the breed.

  • My grandfather raised basenjis up in Pittsburgh, NY (and later in Saratoga)in the 1960's so I was around quite a few of them when I was between the ages of about 4 and 12 yrs old. I thought they were awesome. You haven't lived until you've heard twenty or so yodel together. It's unbelievable! I have only seen 1 basenji since 1970. They just aren't very well known. They seemed to be wonderful pets. They do behave differently then most other dogs.

  • never heard of a basenji before this video

  • Awww, he's adorable.

    Basenji Idol anyone?

  • What happened to this cutie singing the Godfather theme? My basenji loved that one!!

  • That's so entertaining, adorable and, most of all, beautiful!! She looked like she was singing from the bottom of her heart!

Please never delete this video, I watch it all the time lol

  • My basenji mix likes to sing with your dog. It is really cute to watch. I play your video and he sits and sings right along.

  • I just wanna' go and smoosh it with a big hug! So cute :D

  • Very cute!!

  • I think the dog is whineing about the noise, personally.

  • What a cutie :-) Please don't be mad at me, but is it possible that she could loose some pounds? The Basenjis I know are much more airy.

  • That is awesome!

  • This is THE BEST basenji singing video ever! And it always makes me cry because the dog has so much feeling...

  • FREEEEEEEEDOM!!!

  • This dog could use some exercise.

  • great piano. i loled

  • i love how she sits as if approaching center stage upon beginning the performance...total drama...so poised...and makes sure the camera stays on her...lol...bravo...encore...

  • how do you pronounce Basenji

  • @donkeyinafreezer

    BAH SEN JHI

  • Bravo! Encore......

  • Ha, they do that because it hurts there ears. My poodle does that when I play my Harmonica.

  • @TaylorLBabe no,this is a special kind of dog,they can't bark,but they can 'sing'

and she goes along with the song xD

  • @TaylorLBabe no they don't its a wolves way of bonding, they howl. she thinks it's her owner's way of bonding to her. I refer to her as a she cuz females are more adorable hehehe

  • most beautiful song i have ever heard :)

  • lmao my Basenji Benji hes wathing these vids with me and tilting her head at the dog makeing noise weirdly he loves music tho lol

  • I had the same breed named her Sexy. Hates music but loves to follow me when I go to school. She evens follows me to church. She died of old age though.

  • Yours followed you?! Without a leash?! Without darting?! INSANITY!! lmao

  • Yeah, seriously. BTW my school is just 2 blocks away from my house. It's not insanity. Dogs can do great things.

They don't have any inhibitions unlike human.

  • Dogs, yes. Basenjis....tend to be in a class...or even world....all their own. lmao

  • my basenji looked just like this one

  • Wow... That actually sounded kindof good...

  • So adorable!!!

  • I want a basenji soooo badly!! the're so cute!! but I'm so afraid of of all the chewing..My best friend owns one, and he complains a lot! I just can't resist it..! they're adorable!

  • Oh they're not...that bad....if you keep anything plastic or leather at boob level or higher for the rest of your life...and put a weight on the garbage can....and never open the door all the way ever again....heheheh...

Aw, honestly, it's not that bad. The fun and love you'll get outweighs any chewing mis-hazards you'll ever get. :D

  • Mine doesn't do cute things like this. >;[

  • If there ever was a Basenji that earned a Spotlight on the Stage of the Metropolitan Opera House! My Basenji can't carry a tune for all the Kibble in Petsmart.

Perhaps you can have him preform something from CATS? : )
