Version can mean a few things. I mean the original track of the remake of the riddim. this riddim originally came out of studio 1 and johnny osborne did the track "truth and rights" on it, back in the 70's. then another producer (i think massive B) remade the riddim in 2005 (which is the one in this video) I think Sizzla did the original recording on the 2005 remake. I'm just asking who produced the remake. i think it was massive B.
@DoubledUpIrish Yes, thats what i was saying below. However, before Johnny Osborne cut Truth and Rights on this riddim, the original on this riddim was Al Campbells "Take a Ride". Check it out, big tune. The riddim was remade by Bobby Konders at Massive B, and the first artist to voice on the remake you hear in this track was Richie Spice.
@crazyraygun True it was "take a ride" I think a year before (in 1978) "truth and rights" I don't think Sizzla was even born yet when this riddim was recorded. I do know that it is an original studio one riddim so Coxsone Dodd would be the producer. Of course studio one had several different house bands/musicians so I am not sure who actually came up with the original bassline/riddim (possibly Leroy Sibbles).
almost the same bass line as "stone love" by pepper

I don't know what you mean by "original version" of a rythym?.. A riddim is a riddim, a version is a version..
