@ yblocker - Antarctica is VERY dry. There is very little moisture in the air. Anyone whose ever had to scrape ice from their car windows would appreciate Antarctica because ice does not form on objects. The air crews worry more about their hydrologic fluids freezing than Ice forming. PS: We can use more aircraft refuelers down here. Check out Rayjobs.com
@ yblocker-I was on this plane just today. As it turns out they keep the engines warm with heaters which connect on to the engines
