I still have this game. I always played it up to the forth disc. I swear the forth or fifth is where all the killing happened. Of course I had it blurred out. I'm much older now, and just listening to the music reminds me of my nightmares. I hope to be able to watch this whole walkthrough you put up. Thank you for that. I just hope I dont get nightmares. Hahaha when I was a little kid, maybe 8 or 9, I remember my cousin worked for either Sierra or a company that Sierra sub-contracted out, and he helped with this game and others. He would give us copies before they hit retailers, then my brothers would play as I watched, and they FREAKED ME THE FUCK OUT! Like straight up emotional scarring haha. Watching these videos now, at age 25, I can't help but laugh at how incredibly cheesy they are. It feels like I just beat some monster from my past :)

The DOS version (the game comes with both DOS and Windows versions) runs perfectly well in Dosbox so there's no problem playing it in Windows 7.

I have the CDs for this game that my mom bought when it fist came out. I just put the game on my windows seven just last year and it worked fine. It just got a little glitchy in one area, but I worked past it.

Am i the only one who feels that Phantasmagoria was quite bad? The plot is like a mashup of the worst Stephen King novels and general horror clichés. Why did they choose Roberta Williams to write the game? The plot is so damn stagnant at times, it makes you fall asleep. There's too much video, not enough actul playing, and the actors are horrible. And they managed to make the sequel even worse! Overall, i was very dissappointed with Sierra over this back in the day.

It is a VERY good horror game. I would've liked it very much if my older siblings didn't force me to watch the gruesome parts of the killing of the wives when I was like, what, four? five? years old :| I played it later on in my life when I could handle most of it and knew it wasn't real but when ever a flashback/ memory thing happens my mind draws back to those dreaded times of sheer horror in my young life. Actually I've gotten the game up and running now.

A tip: You can't use the setup/autorun.exe file because it won't respond then but if you open the catalog on your pc where the game is installed and right click the mouse button and make a shortcut of the programfile NOT the autorun file to your desktop, and then right click on the shortcut icon and click on the option run as administrator, then you'll get it to work at least I did.
