Kennesaw Mountain is still performing at the top of the competition...from what I remember Kennesaw has gone to GN 6 times and have been Finalist 6 times. Including THIS YEAR. With 6th place. So if you think that's old glories you are being ignorant. Forgot Harrison hasn't ever placed higher either....oops

@CCrown211 You want to talk about the 2010 season? Okay then... I was there at the 2010 GN. It was a blood bath. Harrison would never made into finals. Competing against L.D. Bell, Broken Arrow, Carmel, Lawrence Central, Centerville, Avon, Tarpon, Marion Catholic, PCEP, & Kennesaw Mtn... it was insane. I saw Harrison this year... they were good but not good enough for finals. Yes, they were clean but there was no GE what-so-ever. Each band at finals night had something...

KM for being consistence each time they go to GN and placing top 10 each time. Yeah... Kennesaw have more props then Harrison. @FortissimoInfinity Haha again...4 years ago...different band, different show. Trying to compare GN 06 and 2010 is just stupid, and way to go off topic. I would stop trying to hang on to old glories, cuz no one really cares. lol jussayin. I wish Harrison had gone to ATL, cuz they would have creamed KM this year, maybe not Tarpon, but i never care to compare Tarpon to anyone cuz it just isn't really fair. Harrison would have outdone KM at Nats this past year. I wonder why you wouldn't use 04 KM..

@Fortissimolnfinity Oh believe me i don't need to compare those too bands anymore, both are great bands, so don't think i'd waste my time trying to bicker with you online about who's better. I have more respect for Harrison is all. You just can't compare scores from different shows at different years, especially with a show like WCU with a drastically different panel every year, to be logically fair.

@UGAdawgs2013 Yeah you also had the easiest judging panel in the world, Harrison had an entire panel of BOA and DCI judges. I saw the panel for 2006, of course you got a freaking 92, had it been the panel Harrison had this past year, it would not have been that high. They had a much harsher judging panel. So next time do your research before you decide to gloat. NO ONE scores in the legit 90's in mid october. Just so you know...

@CCrown211 It's not like they judge that harsh in the first place it's WCU it's not even a BOA event. These so called "DCI/BOA judges" that apparently were there this year didn't even judge it like it was a BOA event. They judge it much more like a local competition (which it pretty much is). So leave it at that if you want to compare schools go to PM no one wants to see bickering on a YouTube video.

@ggfgfggggggfgfgf I respectfully disagree with you but so what? Past precedent shows that you hardly need to play at all to win grand nats. For example, LD Bell in 2007. They hid under giant sheets and did nothing most of their show.

Second off sure some of their movements can be physically demanding...but besides the point they pick their style which is Visual. They didn't play as much as ANYONE in Finals.

Third off no one cares what you say I'm 99.9% sure you are just a jealous Harrison band member.

@ggfgfggggggfgfgf Look, I am far more a fan of Kennesaw than Tarpon. That said, Tarpon's show this year, in my opinion, was far better designed in terms of general effect. The visuals in their show were at times astounding. However, I think that Tarpon's style of music (midi drumset, no drumline, electronic sound effects pervasive throughout) does not speak "marching band" as much as Kennesaw's music. Kennesaw had a great musical program, in my opinion, better than tarpon's

Update harrison just won the tournament of champions by taking best percussion along with best music and best aaa band and they scored an 88.98 ( p.s they were judged by boa judges ) just sayin

Awesome show. Love to see what KM is going to come up with each year. Did you leave something out from the props that was used at the Cobb Exhibition last week where the mics were placed?

This show will do very well at Grand Nationals. I think that KM has taken over as the premiere marching band in Cobb County. Great job everyone.

I march snare for Fayette County and my eyes were glued to the battery the entire time. sick drill and sick book. awesome job Kennesaw Mountain. looking forward in seeing some of the guys in the battery at the Bluecoats audition this december. it would be fun to drum with you guys.

This was no doubt my favorite show of the evening. I was in the south forsyth marching band that night. When they all layed down everyone in our band was thinking,"wow cool visual!", then when they started playing we were like "Holy ****"
