Well, all RC planes are FBW. But if you're talking about the v-tail mixing, most decent RC systems these days are highly programmable and allow for all sorts of different control systems.

The configuration has extreme inherent pitch instability, genius, among others--all of which can crash the airplane. Do some reading, figure it out. It's a miracle that these model F117s fly with any stability at all, most of them feature very different planform configurations just to get them flyable. When you're not being protected by quad-redundant stability control systems and not sitting inside the thing to feel what it's about to do, it's vastly harder to fly. Give the guy a break!
