No they weren't. Generally, Shannen Doherty is believed to have left because she disliked the creative direction the show was headed (i.e. they were starting stories that evolved not JUST her characters but the others). The rumor of Alyssa and Shannen fighting was started when Shannen Doherty gave an interview where she said she loved Holly and would miss her but said nothing about Alyssa.

I love Charmed I grew up on it because now I am 16 and I have watched it since I was little. I love Phoebe and the actress who plays her is such a good person in real life to. I am glad that she stayed and Paige or Rose joined the cast!

The first time I watched this episode, I realised how much I take my parents for granted. I was suposed to go swimming with my family, but I blew them off and decided to go to the cinemas with my best friend and her cousin... When this episode finnished, I ran down stairs and told my entire family I loved them. Ofcourse when I ran into my big brothers room shouting, I love you! He wasn't their, only his friends. About 6 of his friends XD

@LiveLaughLove8489 Shannon told the producers that if they didn't get rid of Alyssa then she would leave the show for good. They wouldn't do that so Shannon left. She was never fired, but there was a lot of tension on set. Shannon not only had problems with Alyssa but with crew members as well. She wanted all the spot light to be on her 100% of the time.

You would think after the episode, "All Hell Breaks Loose (Prue's death)" where Piper dies before they reverse time and Leo is in the underworld unable to receive their calls, that Piper and Phoebe would have learned not to let Leo do something like this again lol. But oh well :)
