I first heard "Wai O Ke Aniani" from a copy of Melveen (Leed) with the Best of Slack Key which a friend brought me from Hawai'i more than 30 years ago. I've heard many performances since then, but none of them-- not Melveen's, not even Gabby's-- was any more joyous to me than this one. "Livin' On Easy" was a delightful, unexpected bonus.
