@ParrallelVoltage absolutely right. i went 2 gamestations midnight launch. i was browsing 4 5 mins then a guy came up 2 me trying 2 sell me everything under the sun telling me about deals, carry cases, pens, screen protectors, discount cards, games 4 like 10 minutes. the place woz a ghost town. didnt see anyone come in lol.

That sign they had outside the door said "3D DS." I wonder if those were made by the stores themselves. Also, the store associates seemed pretty formal. A lot of stores here in the US just want to push you out of the way once you've paid for something.

I doubt we're going to get those fancy bags. I pre-ordered at gamestop, so I'll be getting a flashy bag that shows how "awesome" they are.

@NiNTENDOMiNATi0N well, when I say awesome, I mean the gamestop store. Then again, when I got the Wii, I got a blue bag that matched the inside boxes of the package with the word "Wii" on its side. It was a cheap bag and not fancy like that of the 3DS.

@NiNTENDOMiNATi0N To be fair, the pricing was left up to retailers. I believe there are some retailers competeing for the best price and it came down to $197. I don't think Euros have anything to do with it. When I was living in El Salvador (Central America), games for the PS2 in 2004 were twice as much as US prices, and El Salvador uses the same dollar as the US with the same value.
