Samsung XL2370HD Test

Did you try to connect a MacBook Pro to that screen???

What did y do to make it work?

I use a MDP to HDMI adaptor and HDMI to HDMI cable but, still doesn't work properly...

I get only the central part of the screen to show me the desktop and its about 10 inches or so. so I get a black frame around the desktop... and another thing - the screen seems to not recognize the computer at all and it jumps to a game mode on HDMI any suggestions? should I download an update or driver ?

@TamirsCollection yeah...i think i know what you mean....i use a mdp to hdmi adaptor, too. You need to have a mouse (not the trackpad) and a keyboard...then you will connect the cable (Hdmi) to your television. The problem is now that the macbook need to make 2 screens...you would not have the best qualtiy on your television. Solution is that you will close your macbook...you will have normaly blackscreen but you will press now some keys on your keyboard. it will turn on.

@TamirsCollection after that...when it is still not full screen...u can go to the settings, monitor and take the highest resolution,....i think its 1600+.... ...something like that....hope you understand my bad english. :)

I also have this model. Mine takes 1-2 seconds to switch channels (digital) and over 3 seconds to switch to a HD channel. Does this happen also to you?

what is the difference between hd tvs and hd monitors in terms of image quality for pc use? in the old days it was obvious crt monitors ran at higher resolutions than crt tvs but now lcd tvs and lcd monitors run at exactly the same resolutions apart from 16:10 which is slightly higher than 16:9 so is a 32" lcd tv running 1920x1080 exactly the same image quality as a lcd hd pc monitor runnig 1920x1080. its interesting to note how many lcd tvs still dont have dvi inputs and only vga an hdmi

Review fail. This is the Synmcaster XL2370 not the XL2370 Monitor. Plugging things in via anything other than DVI or HDMI means it's misleading for others.

My suggestion would be to rename your video so you don't end up leading people to buying other things.

I for one, am going to purchase the NON-Syncmaster version. Simply the Monitor Version. :)

Both The XL2370HD and XL2370-1's are Syncmaster Monitors. You're just simply misinformed and didn't catch on that Samsung renamed the original XL2370 monitor.

@zakyboss I would buy the xl2370...led is the new backlight technology and standars ...the graphic is really better and the Contrast with the xl2370 is fantastic....very bright...a little bit more euroes and you have a better tv:):):)
