  • These wouldnt sell in todays market. All kids do now is sit on there ass never leave the house and play video games and text message all day...

  • What did they call that thing? I forgot.

  • I also had the purple/green one. Back in 88, I was on a competitive jump rope team, and we used them with the ropes! I miss mine!!

  • Ok, I just read the comments and the people who posted must be really uncoordinated lol! All of the kids in our neighborhood had these & we bounced up and down the sidewalk on them constantly. None of us ever had a problem balancing. lol

  • I had the green one with the purple ring!

  • This definitely makes me think of the 80's. People always dressed in bright colors and patterns. So many people wore white shoes then, too. It was a happy time, perhaps that's what the clothes illustrated.

  • "Okay, we're about $15 over budget. Im afraid we can't afford to give the kid lyp-synching the song on stage a t-shirt to go under his sport jacket"

  • This toy was a real workout , that's why I like the stick better .

  • man, the 80's seemed awesome

  • I had one of those lol.....think i played with it for a few then never touched it again lol

  • I have to laugh at the waitress bringing the drinks over. Somehow, I don't think my beverage would arrive intact. :-p

  • @ShawnRavenfire

Well, it would get there "shaken, not stirred".

  • how do they stay on them?!??!?!

  • @pokemongirl619 I had one and I could never even get balanced on it

  • I remembered that jingle word for word. I had one that was lime green, but it wasn't as much fun as the commercials portrayed.

  • @breakwellpicturez no it was not it was hard to get balanced on it to begin with. You had to hold on to something in order to even get balanced prior to being able to bounce

  • @BillDezynski Not to mention, the bounce wasn't that great.

  • I still have the one my parents gave me on my 8th birthday in 87 (green with purple stripes). My kids have never figured out how to use it, but amazingly at 31, I can still do it

  • i still remember the jingle! thanks for posting!
