Fantastic job with this video. I saw his April 28, 2009 show in Waterbury, CT and was really impressed with the band, the back up singers and, of course, the man. If you had half as great a time when you saw the show as my wife and I did at the show we saw, then I'm sure you consider yourself quite fortunate. Thanks for posting this - it brings back some terrific moments!!!

Thanks wallace, I appreciate your comment. Ya know, I told my wife & our friends that this was more than I had expected from Joe. I placed it in my top 5 shows of all time. I have seen somewhere around 100 different acts including the Eagles, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top & Boston so that speaks volumes. I was totally amazed at the show this man puts on at 65 years old. We had a great time & both my wife & I ended up with a drumstick. Fortunate indeed & I would go again in a heartbeat.

Thank you Pink. Like you said in your Pink Floyd Dark Side Tour video, using a little camera does not give you the clearest of pics or video but the memories are quite clear. I am very greatful having being able to finally see Joe Live. These images and video were all taken from a show in May. This guy is still awesome live. 65 and still rockin the joints.

I agree Robert, what to do without friends. Glad ya like the BG, I took the pic of my son at the park last year. It was a very windy day and I had him stand in the long reeds. I then put the flag on top and made it transparent. The only regret I have is I inadvertantly lost the original pic in the process. Take care bud.

These venues are hard to capture no matter what camera you use.

It seems the older Joe gets, the better he becomes.

I say that because the first song I was REALLY impressed with that he did (other than this one) is "You Can Leave Your Hat On" which came out back in 1986. But he has been rocking for what?....40 years now?

Its very, very difficult to film and take photos at concerts. You did an outstanding job of putting this altogether in this montage to celebrate the Joe Cocker concert you recently attended. Well Done Rod! Very Well Done! Most artists have lost some of their edge at this stage in their careers, but Cocker sounds the same if not better. This gave me chills! I love this song! Faved!

It is indeed my friend, especially with my little camera. I was not supposed to take the video footage but couldnt help myself. Just had to have a couple little clips. The song I used is from my cocker Classics disc but he sounded great doing this song that night. He totally blew us away, if you ever get the chance to see him, I would recomend you go. You are correct, the man puts on a spectacular performance, even at 65. I do feel lucky to have been able to see him live. The sticks we got were from the band. Who would of thought that 2 out of 3 givin away would have ended up in the same home. The drummer was Kenny Aronoff. A popular drummer who played with John Cougar,Cinderella, Fogerty, Elton John,Bob Segar,Skynard and others. Very good drummer.
