@lauragirl1998 When 2 Sims have a close relationship, you can click on one person and say "give gift" or something like that. Though maybe it only works with certain expansion packs.

@HoneyBear1297 I really liked Free Time. That one had a lot of neat new objects and actions. Don't get Bon Voyage unless you have a REALLY good computer, because otherwise when you go on vacation it makes the game slow down terribly and it's not very fun.

@HoneyBear1297 I don't know. I think it depends on your video graphics card. Whoever bought the computer you're using, maybe ask them. Bon Voyage just lets you take your Sims on vacation. You can go to the beach, or the mountains I think. While they're on vacation, if they do certain things they can earn points and earn rewards, like new knickknacks for the house. Try googling "Sims Bon Voyage" and I bet you can find out more.

It's not with seasons, it's with the happy holidays expansion pack. You just click on the oven/stove to get them to do it.

How do we Make Sims Videos

If you have Sims 2 for the computer, you can capture videos by clicking the icon (in the game) that looks like a video camera, or hitting the "V" key on the keyboard. Later, you can take the video files from the Sims folder on your computer and put them into a video-editing program and make a video.

I did hear that. I don't know if my computer will be able to handle it, though -- it's about 3 years old and I tried updating the graphics card and it freaked out. Sooo we'll see. It took me 2 years to get the Sims 2 (after it came out!)

hi mylaellison um i have a question. u said that the grand piano came in the nightlife expansion but it doesnt the saloon piano comes with nightlife. so where did u get the black piano then?

Well, let's see... when I made this video I had Sims, Seasons, Nightlife, and Bon Voyage. I'm 99% sure it didn't come with Seasons, because that was one of the first packs I got, and I remember I didn't have the grand piano then. And if you say it's not nightlife, I assume it must be Bon Voyage.

Ok, you have to have The Sims 2 Holiday Edition to have them have Christmas right? But the Holiday Edition is like a regular Sims 2 Game but Holiday Edition, so you could have Holiday edition instead of the original The Sims 2. But can you install Holiday edition on your computer if you already have The Sims 2? Please explain this to me; I'm confused.

I don't think that the Holiday Edition comes in a separate expansion pack and I don't think its possible to install it after you already have the Sims 2.

But the Sims 2 official website offers alot of different Christmas themed downloads that are free!

There is a separate expansion pack -- go to amazon (dot) com and search for "sims 2 happy holidays". It should be the first one listed.

It was either the Bon Voyage or the Nightlife expansion pack, and maybe both. It lets any child, teen, adult, or elder take pics. You click on the person and select "take picture" and they'll take a picture.

There's an option in the options menu in the game that says "show neighbors", if you say yes to that, you can see the other houses. There were 3 or 4 different families represented in the video, I didn't play all the families at the same time, if that's what you mean. I just played each family individually, then edited all the video clips together.

You have to have the Holiday/Celebrations Expansion pack, it comes with all the Christmas trees and decorations you see in the video. And the snow comes with the Seasons pack.

I have Sims, Nightlife, University, Seasons, Bon Voyage, and the Holiday and Teen Life Stuff packs. I bought them all one at a time, over the course of a year, so no... you don't have to be rich. In fact, now if you buy Sims, it comes with Nightlife so you get 2 for the price of 1. And I'd only get Seasons if you want to do a video with weather (rain, snow) and you probably don't need Bon Voyage right away either.

I'm not sure what you mean...? I use a video editing program called Ulead Video Studio (not the best, but it works) and just take clips from Sims2 and put them together and add music.
